This property was a delight for nature lovers! It offered a welcome escape from the tourist crowds, providing a peaceful and authentic Balinese experience. The highlight for me was the abundance of birdlife in the garden. I spotted a variety of colorful birds throughout the day, and even Bali Mynas flitting around.
I highly recommend booking a birdwatching tour with Putu, the host. Putu's knowledge of the local birds is impressive, and the tour was a fantastic way to explore the surrounding farms, mangroves, and beaches. Putu's guidance helped me spot a wider variety of birds than I could have on my own.
Overall, this property is perfect for those seeking a tranquil stay surrounded by nature.

The stay is very nice, I really liked the outdoor bathroom. And the most beautiful is the garden and the porch where you sit and have breakfast. The host is one of the nicest people we met, he made us delicious breakfast, coffee and was very interesting to talk to and even explained us about the culture over some free drinks he provided. A really hospitable person and a very beautiful Homestay.
Boasting rustic rooms surrounded by nature and wildlife, NusaBay Menjangan is the only resort located within West Bali National Park.

If you are looking for peace, quiet and a bit of nature then this is it. There are no traffic, no chickens to wake you up, just nature. I was snorkeling for 2 hours just of the pier at the hotel. It's possible to free of charge use canoes of the hotel to explore the coastline. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The Animals on the beach was the highlight. Rooms a clean and tidy.

Beautiful resort in midst the national park! Great Snorkeling right of the hotel coast. Easy to spot monkeys and deers on the hotel property:) I got sick on the day of the arrival and the incredibly attentive staff took great care of me. Many thanks again! Cannot recommend this place enough to people who want to see a quiet, less busy side of Bali.

Well the main attraction off Banyuwedang is the people really , such genuine friendliness is rare in the world . I liked diving at menjangan island and permuteran . The west Bali natural park is worth to see but a bit pricey at 1400K hiking with guide . The highlight was the trip to the Ijen Vulcano ( ferry to java ) . Don't expect good eating opportunities as this place is really not touristic . Best eating was at white sandy beach hotel . Hotspring was also very nice . Give the place a week of your time not more .

Place is peaceful and less tourists and foods and drinks are not too expensive as other places. It had its charm of its own. If you like nature this is a must place to visit. Take time thou because long hours to reach from Denpasar Airport but its worth it.
The hotel is amazing, the Rooms are spacious and clean, well equipped.
The pool is beautiful, big with stunning views over the bay.
The staff is out of this world, kind, professional, always ready to welcome you with huge smiles.
Breakfast is also unbeatable, served by the pool.
The restaurant offers local and international food. Excellent!
You can arrange all the activities you like, form hiking to diving.
I highly raccomandate this resort, it’s a diamond for relax and tranquility!
Thanks for all! We will be back!
Putu is an excellent and reliable host and manages the Homestay, which is like living on a Bali farm. You get water for free and you can use a washing machine. We were snorkeling with his friend Made and did a mangrove tour with Putu. Both tours were very professional with these friendly guides.
We enjoyed our stay at taman menjangan very much and would recommend it to people who don’t need luxurious hotels and yet appreciate clean and homestays and like to experience the more rural way of life.
The location is amazing, what a hidden gem. But the hotel is lacking a lot at their price point. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. Breakfast options are very limited but the bread is very nice. Staff really tried to do their best but someone should step up to improve the experience. We send on a diving trip, that was wel organized but that was offered by a company with a partnership with the hotel. (there were also people from outside the hotel on our boat)
This is a beautiful property with a wonderful staff, they were extremely kind and helpful. They took me to visit a beautiful nearby temple; I didn’t have the correct clothes so the owner of this property lent me a sarong, shirt and headwear. The food was delicious and I got to taste a full range of typical west Bali cuisine during my stay.
The staff were so friendly and helpful with our varying check-in and check-out times!
As soon as we got there, they informed us of lots of things to see and do, and we booked a tour through them to go to Menjangen Island the next morning!
It was one of the best things I've done in Bali, and I am glad this accommodation helped us do it!
hotel is located inside the national Park. our room is surrounding by the mangroves, and the water is very clear. and every late afternoon you can see the wild deer walk by our room, what a beautiful place!!! and the staff is very friendly. and thanks for our anniversary cake 😊😊
We only stayed one night here, but everything was perfect. It's a very nice and quiet place in the north of Bali. You stay in tiny cute houses, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, we received a welcome drink and great breakfast!
Wow, what a service you get here! Everything is spotless, very clean - the rooms are amazing and very comfortable and the staff is VERY very nice! I loved the safari feel when you into the car that brings you from one location to the other of the hotel premises.
Perhaps the best hotel I've stayed at in Bali. Super staff, stunning villas and nature around. Tropical birds, perfect scuba diving nearby.
Communication is amazing, staff created a WhatsApp group and we could just text them if anything was required.
The beach villas are very beautiful and right on the beach and the views are just breathtaking. Unfortunately, you can't swim in the sea because of the corals and sea urchins. The hotel staff was very great and attentive.
A beautiful hidden gem in Bali. Made, the owner is amiable and helpful. The view from your room is breathtaking. I cannot say enough good things about Umma Bali Menjangan. Thank you Made for you hospitality.
Ketut and the whole team of staff went above and beyond for me. Very friendly people, whom I will definitely look back to, should I visit this side of Bali again.
