Lovely thing, just the prizes. Raised of 70 - 100 % from last year. Mandatory couvert in restaurants. Tons of people, many of them groups from Germany, wasted from the morning, shouting and behaving obscene. Not sure if I would honor that hellhole by my presence.

Siofolk is a lovely town, I was there this time in the winte, so it is very quiet. However when I was there in summer, it is extremly vibrant, with lots of popup bars and restuarants. Also a lot of parties going on all the time.

Hard to find parking in the center even outside of tourist season. The mini zoo, just outside the town is a great destination, especially for kids. The upside-down house is not really worth the hype but fun to see. The quay is well maintained, but most of the restaurants, and other contents are closed during winter.

A nice small town in the vicinity of Lake Balaton, not to busy in October, the town has a water tower which you can go to the top off by elevator for fine views of the surrounding areas. There are plenty of places to eat with good restaurants in abundance.

The playground and playroom for children add to the family suitability. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet with small food variations keeps you fed. The walk to the nearby public beach is short, some restaurants are nearby (if you look for an alternative to the hotel's own supper course). The environment is calm so sleeping with open windows is no problem.
