The location of the hotel is excellent, next to the university, the park, and the spa. The hotel is charming, our room was cosy and comfortable, and very clean. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. An additional bonus is Krudy restaurant, which offers wonderful cuisine for a very good price. Highly recommended!

If I didn't know it is actually a student's dorm, I wouldn't guess... it's a very nice temporary hotel, more confortable than many others with `etiquette` that I have seen in Hungary. Very close to the Aqua Park, University, yet far away from the city center... so depends on what you target when booking in Debrecen.

The location of this apartment was spot on!
The location of this apartment was spot on!
Right in the heart of the city centre, walking distance to the train station and all the shops, bars and restaurants.
Sitting on the tiny balcony in the morning for coffee or evening for a glass of wine was very nice. So many great restaurants are in the area and the standard of food is very good.
Over the past 5 years we have seen so many changes to the City, Every time we visit, there are new restaurants and coffee shops, renovated walkways, and gardens. The architecture of the buildings is beautiful although there are now so many newly built modern flats being built too.
What I love the most about Debrecen is the quietness. The tram system is so efficient there are less cars & pollution. I always feel healthier when I'm here.
Visit the zoo & Lake Tisza.
I would definitely recommend this city and the apartment we stayed in.

Debrecen seems like a nice chilled place to be.
Debrecen seems like a nice chilled place to be. People are polite and respectful. there are things to do and visit. I would definitely recommend visiting the Deri Museum and Reformed College where lovely staff took me around to show and tell, a special thank you to Zsuzsanna, who accompanied me throughout my visit as i was the only visitor then and i loved it. We also visited Aquaticum and Thermal Baths, and had a ride on the steam train, lovingly called Zsuzsi Vonat by locals.
If you get tired of being there, venture off to Eger, amazing historical city 2.5hrs away from Debrecen by bus, or for more thermal baths head to Hajduszoboszlo, 30 min away by bus. For a nature fix, go to the Hortobagy National Park which is around 1 hour away by bust but worth the visit.
Debrecen may seem a little too quite, i don't wanna say boring, at times, but it grows on you and wins you over with its provincial charm.

We chose Debrecen because it was at a perfect distance from Nyíregyháza Zoo (1 hour away) and Hajdúszoboszló Spa (30 minutes away), so we didn't really had time to visit the city, but we stayed at a hotel near the historical center of the city and what we've seen was nice. Also my wife and my daughter bought a lot of clothes easier and cheaper than Pandorf.
Debrecen is a lovely place to visit, shop and relax, we have done this many times over the years.
We have always been meaning to try the hotel, we were not disappointed. Free on site parking at rear of hotel.
Just a few minuets walk to the main shopping Forums, plenty of restaurants nearby. Some great late night street bars close by. Hotel furnishing are very ornate, nice to see. We will be staying there on our next visit shortly.
Well-kept hotel, convenientely placed right near the entrance of Aquaticum Debrecen. The hotel is situated in the middle of a park, at about 30 minutes walking distance from the city centre. Hotel guests can park their car free of charge in the parking situated right near the hotel. The inside of the hotel is nicely decorated with wood and quality materials. The breakfast was good, offering a number of alternatives.
The location is great.
Minutes walk from the tram, supermarkets, post office, coffee shops etc. - again great location.
The apartment is well equipped but one needs to take into consideration that the main bed is on the gallery and there is a steep staircase to clime to it.
If we return to Debrecen I will surely try to stay there again.
Very beatiful boarding house in the broader center of the city that offers you shelter from the street noise. Food is local and the stuff is great. One receptionist speaks Croatian, so that might be helpful to people that come from Hungary's southern neighbours.
Communication with the owner of the accommodation without any problems, everything corresponds to the description. Location excellent - 15 min walk to Aquaticum and 15 min walk to the city center. There is also a tram stop nearby.
The hotel is situated really at the center of Debrecen. The staff (especially at the reception) was really helpful. The room was good compared to the price and was clean. The breakfast was normal with a lot of Hungarian food.
The hotel is very clean. Wonderful location, close to a very beautiful park. All the staff are amazing and very friendly. It was a pleasure to stay in and will visit again soon. Highly recommend!
Reception is open 24h and I was able to checking at 1am. There is a little courtyard with seating. A lovely place to relax and enjoy the sun. The room was clean and the hotel beautiful.
The hotel is beautiful, offers excellent conditions. The staff is kind, the breakfast very varied and tasty. The conditions at the SPA and the fitness room are very good.
The apartment was clean, well equipped, everything was superlative. The host responded quickly to all requests. The location is 6 minutes by car from Aquaticum Debreţin.
