Mlini and Dubrovnik surprised us with not such good service, angry people in the supermarket, and unreasonably high prices. The nature and the views are amazing, but better be prepared and do good research and planning before going there to avoid surprises and disappointments.

The Hotel was situated in a small little alcove, a few restaurants, all connected to the hotel so easy to settle bills, it had a harbour which was served by two different boat company's, So it was very easy to get a boat to Cavat or Dubrovnik, both a must if staying here, just make sure the city doesn't have too many cruise ships docked or the city can be overrun. You could also get the three Island cruise ship from the harbour, which went everydayThe boats are very frequent, and at 15 euro return, a fair price to pay.

We had the opportunity to visit several beaches: Mlini, Srebreno and Kupari. The beaches are clean, equipped, the water is warm, there are a lot of people, of course, but this was absolutely not a problem for our family.
I must admit I was a bit surprised by the absence of local markets where one could purchase fresh vegetables, fruits, or locally caught fish in Croatia (Croatia, beautiful country where's all the fish catched from that beautiful sea of yours? :) ). There is a supermarket called 'Konzum' with a broad selection, but the fish variety is very limited. On a positive note, I'd recommend visiting the restaurant called 'Oleander', where you can experience exceptional service, delectable dishes, and fantastic live music. However, right next door, there's the "Basilico" restaurant, where we encountered rather impolite behavior from the waitstaff.

Mlini is convenient for visiting Dubrovnik as you can get ferries or buses into town. It is in a pretty bay and has a few nice restaurants. Bistro Lorenco in particular was excellent. The commercial centre is useful for picking up beach things etc and food
Wonderful location, stunning view, beautiful room/apartment, balcony, wonderful furniture and facilities, and short walk to the beach and Srebreno. I came away with the very positive feeling about Villa Barabara and Mlini became my favourite location there.
I would have liked to have stayed longer at VB but could only book 4 nights at short notice and also I decided I wanted to visit other places in Croatia. The lady who runs this with her family was very nice. I hope to stay here again in the future.
We visited Dubrovnik for a work event and wanted to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel. This was the best choice we made. The village where the apartment is based was so easy to get uber's from, to the airport, into old town and to the hotel where our conference was. Super comfy, easy communication with the hosts and they even gave us extra duvet's because it was a bit chilly.
Would highly recommend and look forward to returning.
The host was amazing and quick to give detailed instructions on how to get to the location, as well as how to get the keys.
The apartment itself was amazing and comfortable.
As I already mentioned to the hosts - at first I was sad because I didn't get to book the Sheraton Hotel in time for the conference, but after staying at their apartment, I was GLAD I didn't book the Sheraton. This one is actually more comfortable and beautiful.
"Subrenum apartment in Mlini, Croatia offers a delightful stay with its well-equipped amenities and stunning sea views. The apartment is tastefully furnished, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings are beautiful, creating a serene atmosphere. Patricia, the owner, is exceptionally kind and helpful, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Overall, a fantastic choice for a relaxing vacation in Croatia."
Everything. Good size, comfortable bed, great shower, washing machine and clothes airer, well equipped kitchenette, large terrace (we were in the lower apartment) with seats and loungers. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. The owners also own the restaurant and the bar below (which are both very good) and are very accessible. Parking (2 motorcycles) was available beyond the barrier for the Mlini hotel.
Our room had a wonderful sea view. The owners were very nice and helpful. The shared kitchen is very well equipped.
The beaches are beautiful with crystal clear water and pine woods on the shore. The house is only a few hundred meters from a small supermarket and the stop of the bus to Dubrovnik. A big supermarket and other shops are another 500 m from there.
This is a great hotel, very close to all the amenities and the beach. Very spacious and clean rooms perfect for a family. The pool on the roof top with built-in jacuzzi is fantastic - kids absolutely loved it. The best coffee and breakfast in the area! And finally - the most attentive and helpfully staff. We had an amazing sty and highly recommend it!
Very well equipped for short and long stays, two rooms and big living room and kitchen, perfect for large families, the beach is over one kilometer away but we took the bus into Dubrovnik, the host was very very nice and enthusiastic, we loved our short stay, too bad we had to cut it rhis short. There was free parking in front of the building
First of all, the location is very good. Closed to Dubrovnik (10 min by car), beaches and shops (mall in front of the hotel). The room was very nice and the staff was great (supportive and always available to look after us). Its a very good spot for family and we would love to come back to the hotel. Very nice breakfast as well.
perfect little apartment for me and my child, very peaceful area of Croatia but also not to far from the main city. The owner of the apartment was more then helpful, she helped arrange trips out and places to eat etc. You are left to your own devices which was good for me as I didn’t want the busyness of a hotel.
The staff were amazing so helpful couldn’t do enough for us. Beautiful sea view rooms. so clean. The breakfast was amazing open till 11am, the food omg outstanding! Great location for Dubrovnik you can get a water taxi just outside hotel perfect.
we are defo coming again x
the room is very comfortable, everyhing was so clean and working properly.
The breakfast is very good also, with different choices and the restaurant overall is good.
It is around 20min far from the city center of Dubrovnik but you can take a bus 200m from the hotel
Everything was great. The hotel is very clean and modern. Helpful and friendly stuff. Great choice of delicious food for breakfast. Dubrovnik is only 12 minutes away by taxi. There is a small supermarket 1 km away and big supermarket about 1,5-2 km away.
It's been the second time we visited Mlini and the second time lived in "Maistra Select Mlini Villas and Apartments". We really liked the hotel and the nature beside it. Also, the hotel staff was really helpful and friendly!
Fabulous location in a very peaceful seaside village close to Dubrovnik. There are a few nice restaurants very close to the hotel, and the area has lots of walks/hikes. The hotel itself was clean, and the staff were helpful
Amazing property, super helpful hosts, clean rooms, fully equipped kitchen, best view of the sea from our room. LOVED our stay, highly recommend this to anyone visiting Dubrovnik!
