We loved it here-didnt want to come home! The villa is amazing. Just brilliant with everything you need. Facilities great. Very clean. We used the BBQ which was excellent. Pool small but perfect for me....as I am not a pool lover. Good size to cool down in. The hosts were so kind with gifts, food and drinks. The villa is located just under 1km from the centre of the village of Kavros. The walk down the hill to centre is nice.....harder coming back up! Good tavernas, shops and supermarkets. Ideal for families. The villa was far enough away from centre to be in a quiet location and close enough to reach the centre by foot. We had a car and visit to Lake Kournas a must! Want to go back as soon as we can! Beach excellent too and about 1km away.

Lovely location with a good mix of locals and tourists.
Lovely location with a good mix of locals and tourists. Plenty of tavernas and bars to choose from with fabulous food and drink available. There are facilities for small children around the village and the long beach has activities most of the day. A river flows into the sea by the harbour creating beautiful vistas and an excellent location to watch the sunset.

LaMer, Really high quality hotel with everything you need with a super short distance between the room, pool and beach. The only downside is that is about 1 hour ride to the central city chania, so if you want to mainly be in the hotel to relax it is not an issue, otherwise you probably should rent a car to reach the adject cities. There is also a market area in like a 10 minutes walk that offers great greek food(better than the hotel in my opinion) Clothes, Souvenirs, Supermarket, Bars and moreTom - 10Scored 10

It is a small town close to everything - 40m to Chania, 20m...
It is a small town close to everything - 40m to Chania, 20m to Rethymno, even with busses it's reliable transfer. City is easily walkable on foot. Driving in the city is possible, although be very careful in the late evening as everyone is outside. Also finding a parking spot in the late evening can be a challenge, because most visitors staying in hotels east from the city come here for a dinner. City center is small, but lively with huge variety of restarants, vast majority with delicios food and great service. Almost everyone speaks english, at least to some extent, and locals are extremely friendly and helpful and there are several supermarkets so furfil your needs. Beach is very long, so you'll always find the right place for you.

There's also a pool and you can sit on the rooftop to enjoy sunsets, a bike was also to be found up there. It is very quiet there, but you can befriend the neighbors if you want to. The beach is pretty and you can take long walks up to Georgioupoli town, there are also some bars and taverns near the beach. The town is beautiful too.MMy DuyenGermany

The food at breakfast and dinner was amazing, we gained a few kilos :) The beach is sandy and sunbeds are comfortable. The animation team did their best to keep us entertained, the beach volleyball was a top activity along with the morning stretch at the beach and all other fitness activities- Dimi is the best! Overall, we loved the hotel and highly recommend it. Btw, thank you for the free room upgrade!

The hotel food was fantastic and the service excellent. We didn't use the pool because the sea was so close and inviting. There were plenty of sunloungers both in the shade or sun. Also the beach is a 4-5min walk from the hotel. The hotel has stunning views of the mountains which you wake up to. It is new and very modern. It’s always clean and peaceful. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and will do everything they can to try and accommodate any of your requests.

Our room was very close to the beach. They provide beach towels and you can change them regularly, which is a plus. Beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas and included in all inclusive.
