Pristine location. A few steps from harbor. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. We booked a small room for one night and enjoyed the stay. We were also offered to park just in front of the hotel, which is really sweet of the staff. Thank you!

Wauw - what a nice place. The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom. Very clean, very modern equipment. We watched the sunset out of the balcony of one window side and the sunrise on the other. The view on the water castle of Bourtzi in the Argolic gulf is breathtaking. The reception provided even beach towels for the beach which is in walking distance from the Guesthouse. We loved the breakfast, a buffet with homemade bakeries and local food beautifully presented and cared for by the chef and his team.

although nafplio itself is not large, especially if you stick to the old town which is the most interesting part it is a good base for local tours either with a bus/ktel, affordable taxi or a car. We would have liked to at least check out Epidavros as well and a near by monastery. if you plan to visit nearby sites without basing your self in nafplio 2 days is plenty other wise 4 days to fit Mycenae and Epidavrus

3 nights max is perfect for Nafplio during the winter season. The city is beautiful, the Venesian forst was fabulous and the food is good. The only issue I have with the city is the terrible smell, air quality that seems to start around 5pm and continues until about 8 pm.

A great place with lots of history and plenty of places to eat. Very quaint in the old town and as the tourist season runs throughout the year, it was still having things open during December.
The castle’s are well worth a visit and the shops in the old towns are very much craft related.
It’s not expensive to eat out and it’s well worth a visit but it’s not a very big town so about 3 days would be enough. If you stayed longer, it would be as a base to explore all the old heritage sites located within a hours drive. Definitely get a hire car as no train comes out this far. We flew in to Athens which is a 2 hour drive on the motorway.

Worthwhile to visit. Great little find in Greece.
Worthwhile to visit. Great little find in Greece. Fly to Athens, catch a train as far as Corinth. We then got a taxi as it was late but on researching, better getting a bus from the airport to Nafplio. A third of the price and very convenient. We got a bus back from Nafplio. Sounds a faff but it wasn’t and very comfortable bus journey with helpful driver. Def worth the effort to get to there to visit . Walked up to Palmedi fortress. Wow! The views were stunning. Got the boat over to the other fortress - nice trip. Took the little road train too - only 20 minutes and helps get bearings round the town. Loads of walking. Loads of pubs and restaurants and shops. Food was all fresh and amazing fish served too.
Frunze Luxury Apartments was beyond exceptional. The owner Sergios his wife and son are perhaps the geatest hosts we have ever come across in all our travels. The suite was 10 plus. Large two balconies, spotless and fully stocked, The breakast brought to our room was tremendous and different every day. Immaculate pool. jacuzzi and sauna. All in the middle of an orange grove with views of the castle and just minutes from the huge free parking lot in Nafplion. One of the best experiences we have ever had. And we have traveled extensively.
This small hotel was perfect for my stay to Nafplio. It is right in the old part of town and so close to the beach and port.
The bed and bedding is extremely comfortable, the best sleep I’ve had during my trip. Like a cloud!
I had a room with balcony and it overlooked terracotta roofs and a beautiful church dome.
Breakfast was bountiful, fresh and delicious and Dimitris is an excellent proprietor, friendly and accommodating and quick to reply when I had to ask questions.
I highly recommend you book here!
The staff is very friendly. The lady at the front office (sorry, I didn't get her name) graciously accommodated our room request. The room is so spacious and has everything we needed. My daughter wasn't feeling well but recovered quickly after getting good rest staying here.
Breakfast has the most variety of all the places we stayed in Greece; they even included desserts!
Short car ride to the city center, and very close to major supermarkets!
Stayed at the Messini Pension only for one night, but I had a very nice stay. It was a last minute booking in the evening and I was able to check in without any problems. The location of the hotel is perfect: right in the middle of the Old Town of Nafplio, close to everything. It's a stylish place in a traditional townhouse, the room was very clean too. A very good breakfast was included in the price. The staff were very helpful and welcoming!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the most charming apartment in Nafplio, Greece, and I cannot express enough how exceptional my experience was. From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I had found a true gem among accommodations. For my one-night stay, this apartment provided everything I needed and more, leaving me with unforgettable memories of this beautiful city.
An unexpected nice little hotel at the outskirts of busy Nafplio, we only had a stop over on our travel back, but it was unexpectedly lovely. The concierge helped my wife to identify the hotel where she forgot some clothing, the breakfast was lovely and too rich (who can eat all this stuff), totally friendly personal, free parking places at hotel site, lovely, just lovely!
Great budget hotel in the heart of Nafplio. It felt like coming back to the 70-ies to stay here; owned by a very nice and attentive family who built the hotel themselves on top of their private house and still stays on the ground floor just like old times. Very clean and comfortable matress, new toilet and taps in sink and shower. Only a 10 min walk to the old town.
This is a great little luxury hotel at a top location in Nafplio. Giannis the owner was super nice and helpful with everything. The staff, the breakfast, the room everything was great. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this place for your stay in Nafplio! Thank you also for being so pet friendly, George & Georgia.
Very nice and quiet hotel. Nicely decorated.
Beautiful courtyard with vegetation, trees, flowers and view over Nafplio rooftops and sea.
Very tasty breakfast in the courtyard, adorable and welcoming staff.
Perfect location, center of Nafplio but in a calm area, a few steps away from the animated and noisy streets.
Very chic boutique hotel in the main pedestrian area of Nafplio. Room was very nicely decorated with great attention to details. Big thumbs up for the very comfy bed and the silent room, despite the busy street down below. Breakfast was very good and COVID-19 preventive measures were taken seriously.
We had top bedroom and balcony with wonderful views across town and bay. Probably the best hotel view in town. Nafplio is lovely and loads of restaurants to choose from. Local beach totally gorgeous. Small and busy for sure but water clear amd perfect for swimming.
The hotel has a nice garden. As soon as we arrived the hotel, the staff ran to our car to greet us. And the hotel provided greeting gifts to us - a bottle of wine and Greek sweets. It’s close to Nafplio with a few minutes drive. The room is nice and clean.
Lovely little boutique hotel very close to the historic quarter of beautiful Nafplio. Decor gorgeous. Room tastefully furnished. Very funky TV hidden behind a grand mirror. Lovely toiletries. Courteous, friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely breakfast.
The rooms were large and the bathroom had good water pressure, which is good surprise in Greece. The hosts were very attentive! The taverna in town has amazing food and great atmosphere for a little village. The mini market is 40 yards away.
The hotel is almost perfectly located within Nafplio's old city , close to the main parking place ( for those who come with a car ) in a quiet street.
Breakfast was tasty and full of potions
Location was within walking distance of the old town of Nafplio which is one of the best locations in Greece
