Great hotel.. AMAZING pool.. location a little out of the way... but if you do like a walk, there is an amazing locals beach about 30 mins walk away.. St Thomas' Beach. One thing to note is that rooms 601 and 602 are accessible rooms.. we were originally put in one of those... they don't have forest views.. it looks over the entrance driveway of hotel... and the bathroom is a wet room that floods... so unless you require an accessible I would not accept that room... thankfully were moved after one night and they refunded half the cost of the room via our expendables in the hotel. Brilliant restaurant close by called Denis... food really awesome and reasonable.

Lourdata is a village on a hill, so there is not what you would call a village centre. Also, as it was October, alot of the tavernas were closing for the season, so a car was absolutely necessary to get to the tavernas up the hill from the beach and the Diana studios. I think in high season, we would have had a different experience here, but for us, peace and quiet was just what we needed, along with the sound of the sea, and the sea within a short walking distance. We also were fortunate to have summer weather, which locals said was unusual for the time of year.

Pleasant rooms with an amazing sea view.
Pleasant rooms with an amazing sea view. The owner, Mariana, was very accommodating and friendly. Arranged and paid for our breakfast on the first morning.
Very tranquil and scenic
Extremely hilly even for seasoned walkers, need a car ideally. There are some nice restaurants up near the main road, however, walking back in the dark was somewhat challenging.
2.5hr walk to Argostoli or £40 euros each way in taxi
35 Euros in a taxi from airport to accommodation (booked through hotel owner)
Lovely pool with poolside shower.
No bar or food available on site
The walk to the beach is downhill and steep on return.
You can see turtles close up in Argostoli
Theres a lovely bar down the road which is owned by a Welsh man. It has an amazing setting.

My choice was Lourdata because it is in a quiet place and close to everything you need. People in Lurdata are extremely kind and good. Long Lourdes beach and Kanali beach below are fantastic, uncrowded and with a lot of privacy. Going to the beach is a problem, if you don't have a car or motorbike because there is a big climb on the way back. But in every guesthouse it is possible to rent a car or something else.

Lourdhata is very pretty with lots of nice Tavernas and a really nice beach. Just need to remember that it's built on a hillside (which gives it it's stunning vista) so expect a fairly vigorous walk if you are located in the upper reaches! Or if you prefer, get a hire car.

There's one big problem with staying here : unless you're super fit of have a rental car at some point you are probably going to have to struggle up the.very steep hill from the beach area to your accommodation, some of the restaurants & bars and the shops
Just keep this in mind because otherwise it's a perfect location for a quiet beach holiday.
Don't expect wild night life or masses of beach activities. It's quiet, relaxed, chilled and quite beautiful.
Great place, very peaceful. You only hear the sound of the sea from the balcony, very nice views aswell. I really enjoyed my 10 day's stay. If I had more time I should stay longer... The owner was super friendly and welcoming. She was always helpful. I didn't have a car but always got a lift from her to the super market or where I wanted to go! Lourdata beach or mini market 10-15 minutes walk. Go to Kanali beach aswell, beautiful. 10 minutes extra walk to the west over the beach from Lourdata beach.
We had a lovely 3 day stay here. We had a ground floor apartment which although advertised as a garden view, did have a sea view from the side of the balcony. The apartment is large, spotlessly clean with well thought out provisions for self catering. The staff were lovely and make great cappuccino Freddo wnd cocktails at the bar. We had our bathroom bin emptied daily and fresh towels. It’s literally beachfront in the middle of Lourdata Beach so close to amenities.
Everything! Beautiful hotel, amazing staff and service, great location to beach and restaurants. Really feels like a five star service with how welcoming the hotel is. Decor throughout the whole property is fabulous, really makes you let go and relax. Nice breakfast selction with both local and international choices. Great pool with sun beds and loungers. Rooms are spacious and modern, with a beautiful view on private balcony. Very highly recommend.
The host Georgia was nice and friendly. She cleaned the apartment, made a bed, and took the trash out daily. The kitchen is well-equipped with accessories. The AC is in two rooms and works great.
There are a lot of beaches nearby, so be sure to have a car when visiting Kefalonia.
The apartment is spacy, newly looking in blue colors and has a lovely sea view - 10 out of 10
Be sure to ask the host about suggestions for restaurants or pure olive oil.
The villa is brand new and the build quality is great. The facilities can easily address a large family or group of friends. Moreover the view is breathtaking! There are plenty of shops around so you always have what you need in a walking distance.
On top of the above, the host, Rania, is a super friendly lady, who can help the visitors enjoy a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend Agrilos for an unforgettable stay in Kefalonia.
Excellent place to stay. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and Despina helped us with information on how to get around the island and provided us with a number of a taxi driver who drove us from Agrostoli to Lourdata. A very friendly and polite fellow. Vasilis even offered we take his car for groceries as there were no rentals available! If we come back to Kefalonia, we will most definitely stay At Rosa's Beach Studios!
The hotel is not so big and is located in a quiet neighborhood so we felt at home during our stay there. Very comfortable and clean room, really nice and helpful staff, good breakfast and good food at the restaurant. Lovely terrace surrounded by trees and flowers and with a view of the sea. Walking distance from Lourdas beach, restaurants and markets. The pool and other facilities are great.
Location, location, location! There is hardly anything to complain about. It's a quiet, private area, while it is just a couple of minutes to the first tavern. The beach, it's about 20 mins by walk or less than 5 by car, busier is Lourdata, much calmer and in my opinion nicer, is the Canali beach next to Lourdata.
The house itself is splendid. I will surely come back.
Marina was the best part of the trip! She was so kind and generous and always made sure I was enjoying myself. I wish I could’ve taken her with me! The property was stunning with amazing views and very close to everything (albeit in the heat it can be hard with the hill! But it was close to 33 when I was here). When I come back to Kefalonia I am only coming here!
We were very happy with the hotel. We had a sea view balcony with a table and 2 chairs, perfect to chill out. Room was comfy with a small kitchenette and a table. The host was very nice and caring. There was a swimming pool with sunbeds and the location was perfect for us, close to restaurants and bars.
Everything, there wasn't any problem, even one day there was a pipe problem in the area and owner of villa informed us about it, and came to put water from his emergency tank in use for us. They are really professional and I would came back every time when I'm on Kefalonia
Great location & superb views! I really liked the large, beautiful pool. The family who runs the hotel is super sweet and accommodating. Tips on local beaches, restaurants, etc. were appreciated. My apartment had a nice-sized kitchenette which was well-stocked.
The apartements and the surrounding area are very well taken care of by Mrs. Irene. Everything is perfect and you can have a peaceful stay. The rooms are in incredible condition and you fell at home. Would highly recommend for anyone visitng Kefalonia.
Location is great but you do need a car. The views are amazing as well and the staff are friendly. They gave beach umbrellas which was great and plenty of cooking equipment. Parking at the hotel is fine as well.
The outdoor areas of the hotel are beautifully designed. The hotel definitely stick out when driving by it. The pool area is nice. The breakfast was good and contained both warm and cold foods to choose from.
We had wonderful experience! The hotel is walk in distance to Lourdata beach. The breakfast is really good. The room is spotlessly clean! Comfortable beds! Beautiful views!!
An amazing hotel. Staff were all very friendly and very attentive, great service! The food in the two restaurants was always delicious and again great service.
Very nice and clean apartment with sea view near Lourdata beach. Owners are very kind and helpful. Thank you for all! We spent there a wonderful vacation.
