Absolutely everything !! The staff was wonderful. Very friendly, the hospitality very prompt, you don't see any stress on their behavior, maybe because all the staff is local, foreigners they just do their job, nothing else. Unfortunately, this os happening with all foreigners in a foreign country

Typical Greek seaside town with adequate facilities, plenty of tavernas and some good shops. A bit scruffy and run down in places with some derelict buildings, badly maintained public walkways and litter. Some smart hotels but otherwise feels a bit run down. Great location for those wanting to visit tourist destinations across west Crete.

Its rather small and quiet village, with few cafes and restaurants near by. The beach is ok, especially for families. If you walk parallel to the coastline you will find a beautiful ancient monastery.

You should not believe the good reviews this place had.
You should not believe the good reviews this place had. The place is isolated and hard to find. Unpleasant location with building going on around it and many stray dogs. It doesn’t have any hotel facilities but cannot be regarded as a self catering apartment as no facilities to prepare or eat food. It is miserable and we left after one night . We were alone in the place all night
The only interesting place in the vicinity was a monastery about 25 min walk away

The place is very far and inconvenient to get to, there is nothing in the area except the hotel you choose to stay in and you should also pay attention to that, because there are a few good hotels, everything else should stay away from them. The beaches are not so accessible for swimming and there are usually high waves, from October it gets very cold with strong winds in the area which makes it even more difficult to relax and enjoy a good tan or a walk on the beach.

The local government needs to invest more in the infrastructure, and complete half-finished projects, such as installing the missing lampposts and planting trees or shrubs in the erstwhile empty planters. There were also signs of unsightly fly-tipping. Pity that I noticed that there were no bring in sites and locals seemed to dispose of domestic waste without separating the recyclable from the organic.
There is a good supermarket within walking distance, so one can stock up easily. The seaside restaurants serve fresh local food and are very fairly priced. A very quiet town and no evident nightlife.

Quiet small village with an authentic atmosphere.
Quiet small village with an authentic atmosphere. There are some wonderful hidden gems in the neighborhood. Lack of very noisy, touristy spots is a bonus - it feels very relaxing, calm and private. A great place to stay when exploring the west of the island. Accessible by public bus directly from Chania.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly Iva and Khristos who were always available to provide advice about the hotel and the whole region.
Room was very comfortable with excellent bedding and strong air con as well, a must in this heat! Very clean and bright as well, with lots of natural light, a must.
The close proximity with the beach is another strong positive, not crowded at all with a great feeling of space.
The hotel was really amazing for the price we paid,it was clean, the room was nice and cozy and the ac as well as everything in the room was working perfectly 😃!!!The gentleman at the bar was a great surprise as he was really good at his work and he was very informative about all the questions we had for the area and of course places of interest!!!!We will definitely come back to this paradise next year for sure 😊
The location is good. My husband and I prefer to stay away from too touristic places. We rented a car and visited different beaches every day (the best ones in the south by the way). The staff in the hotel is really great and helpful. Our room was on the top floor with a sea view, I think it is one of the best ones, we liked it. The food is average for a hotel claiming '5 stars.
Very quiet hotel, with really nice pool and view to the sea. The staff was very friendly and reactive to our questions.
This is a good place to explore the area of west Crete (Balos...) and have a good rest at night.
We had no private pool, but they are in front of the parking (for some rooms) and we could see them when we parked ... So no regrets not to have one !
The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet. The staff is excellent, as well as the big pool. The food for this price was nice, what I petsonally missed was a larger variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. It is easy to use the public transport, you just have to walk to the main road (cc 7-8 minutes).
Staff is super friendly, very clean hotel with lots of pools. It is across a quiet street from a pebbly somewhat mediocre beach. I was rather surprised there weren’t that many resorts in Chania so if you’re looking for one that is well priced and suitable for a family this is a good choice.
We are travelling a lot and in this hotel, we have had one of the best stays! We had excellent personal customer experience, a great view from the room's balcony and also a delicious breakfast. The beach was only a few steps away. We really enjoyed it there! Thank you for everything ❤
we stayed at the hotel 5 days with 3 kids-7,5,3
the kids loved the hotel.
the room was clean, big and comfortable.
the water park was great we all loved it.

The hotel is of a high standard for those looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Service level and the staff at a high level with service awareness. In a clean and tidy place. Several types of swimming pools and a nearby quiet and clean beach.
highly recommend.
The hotel is very nice, clean, with big and comfortable apartments. We had breakfast and dinners and the food was delicious.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The two pools and aqua park are clean and nice.

The staff was amazing - the most relaxed and efficient group of people I’ve encountered in a hotel environment. People were friendly, the food was great, and they made sure our stay was comfortable and that we felt taken care of.
The staff was great. The kids really liked the water park. It was nice, the hotel was not too crowded. Breakfast was really good.
Our room was great. Nice and clean, comfy beds, big bathroom and nice view from the balcony.
Super clean room with comfortable beds.
Extremely kind owners ready to support you.
Cleaning services every day!
Good view to the sea side.
Bus station just in front of the hotel.
Calm area.
Perfect air conditioning.
Exceptional hotel, with beautiful modern rooms and we can not forget about the amazing people creating this place, they are all on the top! I had a great time in Galini Palace and can't wait to visit it again.
