The place is a dream. The landlady was wonderful, incredibly attentive and helpful. It was the best stay of our 11-day trip.

Beatiful garden, owner friendly and always ready to help. You can find great beaches not far.
Right on the central square of Portaria with its shading plane trees, lies the hotel and restaurant Kritsa. It offers romantic rooms, a rich traditional breakfast.

Hotel Kritsa and the gastronomy restaurant are a fantastic experience. First of all you have the lovely and wonderful staff. They are so friendly!
They bring your suitcases to your room and they give you all the necessary information about Portaria, the shops … and everything you ask them. They are very helpful!
The outside area of the hotel is like the garden of Eden with an 800 year old tree at the center and a well next to the tree . You don’t need to buy a bottle of water. They fill a carafe with fresh spring water. Lovely! Water can taste very good.
The rooms are comfortable. Old style Pelion. I had a room with a balcony over looking the square with the old tree. Very recommendable!
And then last but not least you have the breakfast. Only for the breakfast you stay in Kritsa. It’s of an unbelievable good quality with very good quality local products and products from their own farm.
The restaurant is also a very good experience. Lovely food and a very good wine selection. The service is professional and very relaxed and friendly.
I come back.

Trully stunning village of the traditional Pelion style but without the hordes of tourists and the extortionate prices! Very nice beaches close by, though some manageable dirt roads to negotiate. Excellent food both in the village and Kamari. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday in a spectacular natural location with amazing views.

Keramidion is a magical place, very calm, with little or no tourists (except us) and great views! Its nature is nice and so is the food. I would definitely come back, because this part of Greece is nice and ideal for family vacations, away from all the tourist madness.

It was quiet village (Kamari) in hidden bay.
It was quiet village (Kamari) in hidden bay.
Closest village was Keramidi, and from keramidi to second closest village it was about 1 hour by car.
There were 2 restaurants close to app. (50 meters) however they didn´t cook prepared meals (for example this was my first holliday in Greece without moussaka). just grilled sea foods ...
Beach is well organised and prepaded to invite disabled people.
