Just back from another stay at the Ray Hotel. It's a lovely hotel in a great location! Staff are so friendly and helpful. We especially love the sun deck by the beach. This was our 3rd time staying here and won't be the last - that says it all!

The breakfast was absolutely outstanding.
Made to order in the open kitchen, by the private chef; Alexandra, breakfast was a delightful experience each day.
Served by Chris, who was attentive and welcoming, we enjoyed delicious pastries, fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, homemade granola, and eggs cooked however you chose, plus delicious homemade cheese pie or spinach pie! Some mornings we spent 1.5 hrs enjoying the whole experience and chatting with Alexandra and Chris.
The hotel itself is beautifully appointed, filled with bespoke pieces of artwork and furniture, flowers and plants. In particular the outdoor dining area was peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are spacious and luxurious (we had the pleasure of staying in room 7 & room 8). The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed and spacious.
The best thing about this hotel is that it doesn't feel like a hotel.
With only 8 rooms, it feels like a home from home, more like a guesthouse (albeit a very luxurious one!) where you felt like a well looked after member of the family.
The other big plus is the location - in the most beautiful part of town, still within walking distance to the centre, on the water and a moment from the lovely waterside park and tavernas.
