Our trip to Ikaria has been tremendously enhanced due to our stay at Selene. The property is newly refurbished and very chick and clean. Daemon and his family were the best and the homemade breakfast was incredible. Very nice room with great view of the sea.

The hotel is in a great location and the sea view is stunning. The pool is a lovely bonus even though I would mostly go to one of the many beaches - but used it twice and it's always clean and comfy. The staff is great, we did have a problem with our room but they swiftly offered to move to another room where everything was fine.

Everything. Beautiful farm house with every detail taken care of. Fully equipped with an amazing sea and sunset view. In the night you can also see the milky way from your terrace. Quiet, Super comfy, clean and nice character. 5 minutes away from the sea and tavernas. Super hosts, pretty garden. Definitely recommended. By far the best stay in Ikaria. Would love to go back there!

The room was spacious, super clean with breathtaking views! The owner was very hospitable and kind and took care of all of our needs. The property exceeded our expectations! If we ever go back to Ikaria we are definitely going to stay there again. Totally recommended!!!

Armenistis is a lovely place to stay but if you want to see the best parts of the island you really need a car. I didn't have one and felt that I didn't see more than the beach. The seasonal bus had stopped running so I wasn't able to go very far which was quite frustrating. The whole Ikaria experience was great from spectacular sea views from apartment and friendliness of owner to getting out and about visiting the area. great value for money. The highlight of the stay was sat on our lovely patio area seeing a school of whales basking in the early morning sun, Would add that the accommodation is not in ARMENISTIS but a couple of miles further on in NAS which is lovely and 4 or 5 restaurants all together.JohnUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

A relaxed, low-key unpretentious town on the more green and pleasant side of Ikaria. Beautiful sandy beaches are close by, as are a couple of coastal villages with extra choices of tavernas as well as some pretty villages in the hills. Be prepared for signs and menus to be in Greek, it's not developed for the package tourist, which is lovely. Probably the best location to stay in Ikaria but you need a car to travel around and explore the area (I didn't notice any public transportation). Nice beaches (such as Mesakti) and mountain villages (e.g. Raches) in short distance. More touristy part of beautiful Ikaria, lovely and clean beaches (we saw some swimming turtles!! :) One place from which you can observe sunset and sunrise also. Goat icecream in Armenistis is a must.

The tiny appartments have an amazing view on nas beach and are in a very quiet and peaceful area (at least from what we can say in october). The communication while booking and staying was always very fast and uncomplicated and the sisters Afroditi and Anna are very kind and warm people. Our room (a triple) was large enough that we weren't tripping over each other, and the bathroom was good. Unfortunately, we didn't have a sea view, which would have been fabulous given the amazing location, but we did have a small patio to sit out on, which was nice! Lovely swimming pool. All-in-all a very nice hotel to stay in, and I would definitely stay there again if I revisited Ikaria.

This property has one of the best wievs of the sunset in Ikaria. I recommend asking the property in advance the day you arrive, what your room is and where it is located. There is no reception so information in advance is needed! Villa christina also helped us rent a car and were easy to contact during the stay if something was needed.
