Everything about this hotel was just perfect. The hotel is positioned amongst stunning Derbyshire countryside and exudes classic English elegance and charm. Food was good, portion sizes good. Service a little fast if anything! Value for money and even a round of golf in the price. Unfortunately weather and a competition meant that we didn’t have time to use the course. Looked challenging!

Enormous comfortable bed. Refreshing powerful shower. Lovely decor. Very clean. Good range of cold drinks provided in the fridge. Bowling Green pub... friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of drinks and delicious food.

This B&B is definitely a standout choice for any traveler and the photos don’t do it justice. I was truly impressed by the value for money it offered. Every morning, I enjoyed a great breakfast with high-quality ingredients. The location couldn't have been better—just a stone's throw away from points of interest and scenic hiking trails, perfect for both adventurous hikes and leisurely strolls. What made my stay even more special was the hospitality of the owner, Naomi, and her attentive staff. They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable.

The property was set in a secluded and peaceful location, beautiful views and the hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Had access to a bar area, with TV, juke box and karaoke machine. The hut itself was really cosy and relaxing. Would love to stay again.
