Wonderful location by the River Ex , the staff so helpful particularly Grace who went over the level of service , and the food was great . A strong recommend from me . I have stayed in 100s of hotels mostly are dross and awful service . One wonders why they actually in the leisure industry. This is rare gem , fantastic VFM in my mind .

Room was large and quiet, at the rear of the Inn. Bed was comfortable, the evening menu was good. Nicely prepared meal. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Good Full English breakfast. Comfortable seating and very friendly staff. Easy to find as it is right alongside an A road.
