Rob and Jan are both a breath of fresh air! They put you right at ease straight away; this paired with the homely and colourful surroundings makes for a crackin' stay (not to mention I'm pretty sure the bed is made of clouds). The room was so nice, lovely and modern. The bed was very comfy and the blinds kept the light out. Also liked the smeg fridge, very cute. Breakfast was yummy, loved the Blueberry Waffels. 10/10.

Staff great. Had a sirloin steak for dinner which I couldn’t eat as it was so tough. Told staff member who offered me another which for obvious reasons I declined. Still had to pay full price though. A word with chef needed I think.

The location was perfect, right in the centre of Hebden Bridge. The room was cosy and the staff, without exception, were welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent and well beyond what one might normally expect of a country hotel. The building, constructed in 1657, certainly has period charm, but the lovely staff made it a really memorable experience.

Location was beautiful, staff very friendly and nice little break away. The showers were not very powerful and the shower tray was too thin which flooded the bathroom but other than this everything was beautiful.

The location is perfect for a rural break with easy access to footpaths and the local countryside. We took stroll to the pub at Top Brink Inn, first pub outing since this lockdown. Easy 20 minutes walk, decent pub food except for the vegan chillie option. Easy to walk to Todmorden from there but as we walked so much the day before we took a £5 taxi back.
