Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Loved the quirky touch with the decor and various soft toys throughout the pub restaurant and room. Evening meal was excellent (didn't have breakfast) Bed was good size and firm. The shower was excellent. Would definitely stay again and more than just one night.

Village Pub with rooms, busy and lively on the Easter weekend. I arrived after the kitchen shut but they kindly fired up the stove again and supplied me with a tasty meal. Cheerful and friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble even after a busy day. Breakfast was good. Big carpark behind the pub, which is in a small village just off the A1.

Bedroom was fair,bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom a disaster, far too small, had to squeeze past sink to use the toilet and you were leaning on the sink even then . Not good at all.
