Tina was absolutely brilliant. We were travelling South and on the last few occasions we have stopped here to break our journey. It is perfect, all the staff are friendly and helpful but last night Tina deserves a special mention. She was so friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast outstanding. Many extras on menu all fresh and expertly served! We had changed order 3 times and staff were very kind in boxing up breakfasts for guests that didn’t make it.
Went beyond expectations.
Comfy beds, very clean and had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you so much! Will definitely stay again

Only stayed for 1 night so didn't get to know staveley it's self,we went to Hardwick Hall which is National Trust property.Old Rectory is grade 2 listed but they've incorporated old and new which we liked
Great breakfast, nice room, very comfortable bed, hosts very helpful, we booked the guest house as we were going to a music gig in Sheffield and could not get any accommodation in sheffield, [fully booked up hotels] however it was no problem, as we booked a local Taxi company [Door 2 Door Taxis] who were excellent and turned up on time for both journeys.
Nice family run hotel in a handy location for pubs and supermarket. Briony is lovely and chatty. She was really helpful. When things were wrong she got them fixed quickly. The shower wasn't working and by the time we got back that evening a new one was installed. The breakfast was brilliant. The rooms clean and the beds comfy.
Everything was superb and much better than most of the hotel chain. The room superb, the owners were so lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The best place we have stopped in . Thanks
