Choice of breakfast cooked and continental, very tasty and well presented. Large areas in bar and restaurant , great decor, Room was quiet and all mod cons, with excellent bathroom and TV, and outside garden feature with small Lake and nesting Duck, certainly will return when in the area. Well done to everyone at the Hotel !

I liked the walk in shower rather than a shower over a bath. The room was also really quiet, so often hotels are located on busy roads. Dinner was excellent, i can't eat potatoes and the dish i picked contained potatoes however the chief happily adapted the recipe to produce a really tasty curry without any potato- greatly appreciated. The staff were all friendly and cheerful, happy in their work which is such a tonic.

We would have liked to have gone for a walk after dinner but the hotel location was such that there was nowhere to walk but that's a minor point. The food and service at dinner was very good and the breakfast was the usual selection of hot and cold items. A small electrical problem was addressed promptly and with a minimum of fuss.
