We had a wonderful stay at the Bonny Wee Snug. It's a great and quiet place to recover from hiking and other day trips. The cabin was cozy and very clean. We used the small kitchenette for cooking and we even enjoyed breakfast on the terrace :)

Amazing place, lovely hosts! Dani and Cameron really took good care of us. Loved the rooms and super comfortable beds. The location was very tranquil and the breakfast menu was great with home cooked food. We also enjoyed the separate “living room” for guests to relax, enjoy drinks from the guest bar with a nice selection of local gin and whisky. All in all the best stay during our ten days road trip in Scotland, highly recommend it!

Breakfast was delicious and Teresa made a concession providing me with cream! Room was clean and appointed nicely. Friendly neighbors and cute lambs in the back.

Awesome stay and will definitely book here again! Thank you for all your hospitality Lynne, as well as the home- baked blueberry muffins. The breakfast is more than enough and the black pudding the best we have had on our trip. 10 out of 10!

We didn't really visit Spean Bridge since we wanted to see Glenfinnan, hike around the lochs and go to the beach at Mallaig. But it seemed nice and quiet. And Spean Lodge was a piece of heaven so we didn't really want to leave when we were back :)

Spean Bridge is a pretty little place with some stunning walks and scenery. The shop has everything you need for your stay and there is also a Post office. There wasn't a huge selection of places to eat or drink and some were closed when we were there but it was probably just the time of year and we ventured into Fort William which has plenty of choice to eat and drink.

Beautiful Small Village tucked away from the Hussle and bustle. Quite and Peaceful area. Mai Bus root to Fort William and surrounding area's.
Locals are so helpful and supportive, specially, i was waiting for a bus to turn up for a while when a beautiful lady turned up and asked me if i was okay as she had noticed me being waiting at bus stop quite a while.

It's a good place to explore the area.
It's a good place to explore the area. Spean Bridge itself is tiny, but has one excellent restaurant at the Old Station. There are some other places but they are only open until 4 or 5, so I did not visit those. For additional options, you'd have to take a 15-minute drive to the next town over (Fort William).
My hotel - Highland Bridge Hotel - has a pub attached that was frequented every night by the locals. So there is a place to hang out if you must.
Overall a good location to explore the Scottish countryside. Considering everywhere you have to go will take you an hour, it isn't so bad you're basically 15 minutes out of town.

We felt safe and secure in our accommodation.
We felt safe and secure in our accommodation. Felt intimidated by locals who got angry with us for not breaking the speed restrictions and we were not alone that felt this! Not much to do in the actual village itself but is a good base to venture out, the b and b we stayed in though was a pleasure to come home to - Braelea, run by Margaret. A fabulous lady with knowledge for days out. We are in restaurants recommended by Margaret.

Rosebank is owned by wonderful lady by the name of Teresa, who reminds you of your favourite aunt whom you rarely see but welcomes you with open arms. She made us feel like we'd been there before, set a lovely table with lots of breakfast options, keeps an immaculate house with very comfortable accommodations and genuinely made us feel like we were home. I would HIGHLY recommend Rosebank to anyone staying near Ft. William or Spean Bridge. I wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be booking with here for our next trip
Absolutely exceptional place to stay.
Lovely welcome from hosts, perfect accommodation with majestic Mountain View's.
Everything you could possibly need.
Beautifully furnished , comfy, modern.
Tea, coffee, biscuits, muesli, milk & books, maps, tons of local information to make your visit fabulous.
Even restaurant recommendations.
We ate at The Old Station restaurant in Spean Bridge , quirky location with excellent friendly service & delicious food.
We would definitely stay here again !!
The hosts were very welcoming and friendly they even preheated the radiator in our room prior to our arrival. The room was as excepted and included condiments. The breakfast menu had a few different options to choose from and extra fruit and yoghurts & refill tea and coffee which were kept topped up whilst we sat for food. Great location if you want to explore, climb or just sightsee. Overall a great hotel and experience for the money spent.
Thank you both!
On stepping in the front door it felt perfect !
Marjorie met us at the door and showed us to our room.
The house was homely and top marks for cleanliness. Breakfast was well organised ,presentation perfect and so tasty.
Marjorie and Willie were so friendly and being locals themselves very knowledgeable about the area.
I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wishing to visit the Fort William are.
Teresa was super helpful and welcoming, responding quickly to our requests (e.g. dietary preferences for breakfast) and making restaurant recommendations. The room was exceptional: very clean, comfortable and the view towards the Nevis range is stunning. Peaceful, picturesque setting in beautiful gardens and quiet village not far from Fort William. We had a very relaxing, restful stay.
The location is excellent, with easy access to Fort William and other major attractions! Lovely garden with hot tub (it's a pity we don't have the time for it), also love the mini bar with wide range of local beer options. The breakfast was next level! Dani and Cameron were very friendly hosts with great recommendations for the local area!
The host was very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. While we prefer a kitchen, it was easy to prepare the breakfast and evening meal with a microwave. The food selection for the provided breakfast was simple and ample.
Clunebeg May seem remote, but it is convenient to Fort William and the train to Mallaig.
Spean Lodge is my dream house in the Highlands and we feel lucky to have stumbled upon it at a time when we most needed refuge from the storm. As a host, Paul is an exemplar, and nothing was too much trouble for him - especially at a time when had just suffered a power outage across the Fort William area.
Very good location for doing the Great Glen Way walk, easy to find and well sign-posted. Dormitory style accommodation with kitchen for use by guests and also serving dinner and other meals. Good value for money and very helpful team running the hostel. No stresses and comfortable stay, thanks.
Enjoyed hearing all the information on the Kings and Queens of England and Scotland. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was pleasant. The location was very convenient to Spean Bridge and Fort William. The room was comfortable and it was nice to have tea and cookies provided.
The property is stunning with incredible views of Ben Nevis. The rooms are lovely, very well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is dog friendly and we were placed in a lovely family room with lots of room, huge 6ft bed. One of the best properties we stayed in on our 8 day tour of Scotland.
Lots of attention to detail in cabins and so very clean! Accommodation had everything we needed - even a dog welcome pack! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food in hotel/restaurant was wonderful. Access to a little pebbly beach - great with kids and dog.
The staff were very helpful, the room was big and warm, it had a bath and shower. Breakfast was a full Scottish.
There’s a shop next door, a bar/restaurant around the corner at the station, the hotel does food as well. There’s also a cash machine nearby.
Everything! the owners go out of their way to make your stay perfect. There is a lovely common room with a bar for guests. The property is beautifully decorated. The property has more amenities than most hotels.
Clean and spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent. The view out of the window is fantastic. Conveniently located with 15~20 min drive distance from Fort William.
