There was a hair in the breakfast. The pancakes were not fresh and I didn’t eat them all. There were no tomatoes. The equipment was not as clean as I would like and the table was not as clean either. The breakfast did not start til 8 although advertised as 7.

Apartment very close to centre of Spalding. Very near to bus and railway stations allowing easy travel to desired destinations. Numerous shops and eating places. Lots of things to do in Spalding, walking along beside the river, visiting Museums and parks like Ayscoughfee Hall. A fun place for adults and children, with no admission charges. Definitely worth a visit.

Was only there for one evening. Drove in the short distance to buy an evening meal at Wetherspoons. Driving out noted sainsbury's and Lidl. Needed a few bits in the morning so purchased from there as leaving. Friendly place. Pubs, food outlets and supermarkets in very small centre.

We went for the newly revived Flower Parade that was fun and quaint in a way that only the British can manage - delightful. Any other time Spalding would be a very average town with nothing special to recommend it unless the location fits your needs

Also it is near to local attraction, Moulton Mill ,you can book a tour of the mill , purchase flour and other goodies and not forgetting the afternoon tea it is exceptional .
We have dined at Prezzo in Spalding which we highly recommend.

Spalding is a quiet little market town with most of the basic things you need - it's best to stay close to the centre as everything closes early.
The surrounding countryside is lovely (as with most places in Lincolnshire) - there's a Water Taxi (though I haven't used it yet) which takes you from one end of the town to the next.
It's mostly clean (compared to the big cities anyway) and the people are friendly (though some locals beg to differ...)

Pitstop is a fun place for the family who can compete against each other on the various scalextric tracks. and historic places like Crowland Abbey.
the hotel is fantastic, it was very easy to get the key from outside. We arrived around 12am so there was no one around, but we called the receptionist in the afternoon and she told us how to get the keys. Everything was ok. The room was very nice, the bathroom was amazing. In the morning we spoke to two ladies both very friendly, we had a very good English breakfast at 9.40 and the kitchen closed at 10am so all the staff was very available.
Convenient for access to Spalding Town centre and roads to other areas. Viv the owner made ever effort to make our stay comfortable even though she was not expecting us. She even had to arrange different accommodation for the first night as Booking.com had made a mistake by not telling us the Guest House was supposed to be closed. Excellent from the guest house but bad from Booking.com.
The place is very clean, and modern, had everything we needed to feel at home. The communication was great and super easy and the host was very hospitable. The whole place made us feel at ease. The neighbourhood is very conveniently located, near shops and a children 's park close by. Would absolutely recommend staying there when in Spalding.
breakfast was very good we also had evening meal which was also very good large room large comfortable bed very clean room very nice owners and staff could not be more helpful or pleasant most enjoyable stay at this hotel can fully recommend we were both more than happy with our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again many thanks
The hotel was located in a good position for where we needed to be. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was extremely comfortable. I requested a low floor with walk in shower due to my wife recently having a new hip fitted, this was granted. There was enough tea, coffee and milk. Receptionist was very polite and helpful when booking in.
The room was spacious, with a dining table and good cooking facilities. Large comfortable bed. Wi-Fi. New bathroom We are somewhat disabled and find it hard to get out for meals in the evening. We didn’t have to Very nice breakfast. Friendly and considerate staff. The hotel is a historic building with an attractive garden
This B&B is a golden nugget in the outskirts of Spalding. Our hosts Kim and Simon were extremely welcoming and friendly. Sharing their home with strangers must be challenging, but Kim could not do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. The house was very clean and continental breakfast ample to last the day.
Location lovely. Hotel room was exceptional, really comfy bed/pillows, huge room, lovely furniture, great nights sleep. Huge bathroom. Freshly cooked breakfast to order, which was superb. Staff really friendly & helpful. Excellent price for what is offered. Will definitely be staying again! Can not fault!
Hotel is convenient for town, had a nice garden & friendly staff. Nice breakfast room & good menu choices. Room was compact, but comfortable. There were a few snagging/housekeeping issues, which I gave feedback on direct to the Hotel (bulbs out etc) Overall a very nice stay & I would stay again.
The hotel room was perfect for us, staff were extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. A quiet evening sat by the river made it extra romantic while the bar meal was the cherry on too. Perfect food, perfect hospitality and a perfect break away. Looking forward to another visit
We use marstons a lot as we know the accommodation is perfect and the bar and food are brilliant. Tulip queen was comfortable and welcoming. We always feel at ease when staying at marstons hotels. I recommend these places all the time. Good value for money
Lovely hotel. Sasha the manager is lovely, warm, friendly and welcoming. Room was bright, very clean and comfortable. Bed was great. Breakfast was excellent. Both Michelle my wife and I had a great stay and will definitely stay again.
Excellent room provided for dog, at the back of the hotel, with external walls, so minimal noise. The rooms were comfy and the larger one, particularly good with an outside area.
