The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We stayed in room 210, and it was disclosed that this was their best room. The room was very spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable.
The restaurant/bar area was very nicely decorated. We didn't eat here, but the food we saw looked very nice and looked like decent portions.
There was also ample parking.

Second stay here, that says it all! Welcoming feel, I called to say I was going to check in late after the restaurant had closed and they prepared a cold plate for me. Cosy bar. Comfortable attractive rooms.

Good, clean and very remote area meant it was peaceful. Tracey and Emyr Jones were great hosts.
Such a lovely location and property. Chickens and an orchard. Private parking, well located for Mansfield and forest walking. Love it every time we stay. Kids love it too as it's spacious and has a lovely outdoor seating area too.
Will be booking for many years to come!
