The room was clean and of a decent size. The check-in process is straightforward enough, there is no reception so everything is done via door codes and key locks but it was ok. Just make sure you don't have a flat phone battery when you're trying come back in as you've got two door codes to remember!
The room includes teen coffee-making facilities full stop there is no on-site restaurant or cafe for breakfast but there are options nearby as well as a Lidl round the corner.
Offering free Wi-Fi, The Horse and Jockey is situated 1 mile from the NET tram site in Stapleford. It sits above a real ale pub, where guests can enjoy a selection of cask ales and ciders.

Good pub ...clean accommodation, private little patio in sunny spot.
Kitchenette is enough, though could do with an oven...
Nice village with bus stop right outside pub, to Heanor (3 miles away), or Derby in app direction (6 miles away). Good bus service too!
Big Tescos with metro; in Heanor.
Derby is excellent for shopping, and there's an Ikea in Eastwood which is about 15 mins away ...along with big brand shopping & eating complex.
Great park in village for kids only around the corner (right out of pub and first left and 7 or 8 houses down on the right ...about 2 min walk) with football pitch.
Across the road from this (going out of bottom corner of park) across the road into entrance by the woods, its another park, green space, tennis courts and cricket pitch - all well maintained ...woodland walking too.
All round nice village
