The room was exceptionally clean and spacious.
The bathroom was amazing and the views from the room was lovely especially watching the baby geese.
The restaurant offered a good range of breakfast choices and to an high standard.
The staff were all friendly and helpful even when my hairdryer broke and replaced immediately.
The chocolates in our room for our anniversary celebrations was a lovely touch and tasted amazing.

Beautiful setting, 12 min drive from York Shambles. Spotless room with lovely decor. The bed was very comfortable and we were warm. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to make your own food, very clean and well kept. 4 block of toilet/shower, not many but never had to wait to use them. Showers were hot and again, very clean. Outdoor bbq area was really nice, it was a shame the weather wasn't the best, but some people there made the most of it. Great space to park your car. Big handsome peacock roaming around with the automatic grass hoover - we named him Groover.

Perfect location with everything you need to totally relax and unwind. Fishing lake was 20 paces from the accommodation (and full of fish), Jacuzzi was 5 paces from the front door (and extremely clean), WiFi was available with a Firestick in the TV (and good signal) and the hosts (Lisa & Paul) were genuine , friendly, down to earth people who couldn't do enough for you - what's not to love !!
