Brilliant, cooked specially whilst you enjoy fresh fruit and yoghurt and some excellent juice. Possibly the most relaxing breakfast I've enjoyed, the conservatory is bright and airy with radio 4 playing in the background. The overall experience is akin to staying in an antique shop (the owners other business), with each room individually and uniquely themed and furnished, one even with a four poster bed!
Located in the village of Fincham, The Farmhouse at Fincham offers free WiFi access and free on-site parking. This unique barn complex is set in the Norfolk countryside.
Set in 10 acres of mature parkland, the site is situated on the edge of the village of North Runcton, 1.5 miles from the Hardwick roundabout where the A47, A10, A149 and A17 meet.

Lovely quaint cottage. Very clean and well equipped. Fabulous comfy bed. Very peaceful at night but still close to amenities.

Chalk & Cheese is in the village of Shouldham, and not in Shouldham Thorpe, which is nearby. The village has a lovely traditional "green" with a bench seat surrounding a large tree, an old red phone box (still working) and it appears that there were originally two pubs. One, The Rampant Horse is now a private dwelling. Opposite, the Kings Arms is run as a community pub by the villagers.
Chalk & Cheese is owned by the proprietors of the adjacent antique and gifts business. In the village there is a post office, but no shop. At least two houses sell fresh eggs by the roadside. There is a social and bowls club, a village hall and a lovely church overlooking the village from a hill. There is also a playing field with goalposts for football and some childrens' play apparatus.
We spoke to two or three locals around the green, who were very welcoming. There is a classic car meet on the green on the first Sunday of the month during the summer.

The thought and originality invested in the comfort and convenience of the accomodation was outstanding and the hosts were attentive, communicative and helpful. We enjoyed a pleasant evening at The Kings Arms and had our stay been longer, would undoubtedly have found other equally agreeable places to eat and drink.
