The room was clean, warm and comfortable, with quant furnishings that fit with the ethos of the building. The bathroom was sparkling, it was light and bright with a great shower. There was a good choice of main dishes for breakfast, fresh percolated coffee, fruit juice, cereal, yogurt, and freshly baked Danish pastries. We stayed for one night and we will return.

Everything. Lovely spacious room nicely decorated with large bathroom with shower and freestanding bath, tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk and chilled water available. Fresh cake was left in the room everyday which was a really nice touch and very welcome when we returned from our day out. The food at the White Swan is exceptional with a wide choice of beautifully presented meals and the breakfast menu is outstanding. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and I can fully recommend a stay or restaurant booking here we loved it.
The average price per night for a 3-star hotel in Seahouses this weekend is £212 or, for a 4-star hotel, £185. Looking for something even fancier? 5-star hotels in Seahouses for this weekend cost on average around £154 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
Seahouses is a perfect base to explore from. Lovely little town with amazing coastal path. If you enjoy walking you won’t be disappointed with this area. Superb scenery from Seahouses to Lindisfarne. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and discovered a lovely old traditional smokehouse in Seahouses. Before walking to Holy Island we enjoyed a coffee at Beal Barn with panoramic views. Driving over to Holy Island an option if you don’t want a very long walk ! Overall enjoyed excellent hospitality everywhere we visited. We’d need a full weeks visit next time to really appreciate that coastline. Stunning ! The Snug a cosy base for the two of us with parking right outside our door

The last stop on our 3 day walk of the Northumberland Coastal Path.
We stayed in The Olde Ship Inn for one night - quirky but pleasant, helpful staff and good food, evening meal and breakfast.
7 mile round trip walk to Bamburgh Castle along the beach and back along the road was well worth it, interesting castle - good scones and coffee!
Superb meal at The Bamburgh Castle Inn overlooking the harbour, I think they serve food all day.

not a lot in seahouses. but walks from there and through there are great. we walked to Bamburgh it took 1 hour nice and flat. the hotel was good for food and friendly staff. we have sea views and also the harbour is nice to have a little walk around
The apartment was in an excellent location on the Main Street in Seahouses, parking was close and free with the permit provided. The apartment was very comfortable and equipped with everything you would need for self catering. We particularly liked the thoughtful geStures provided, like fresh milk, cereals and jam pancakes. Everything was catered for and it made our stay very restful and enjoyable. We thought that the apartment was very good value when compared to nearby hotels, would certainly visit again.
Loved staying here. Friendly welcome. The location was superb with lovely views. Our rooms (bedroom & lounge) were clean and thoughtfully decorated. Having the lounge was definitely a plus and having only booked one night at Chandlers on our road trip, we wish we’d had time for more. We ate breakfast in the delightful breakfast room next door and the food was very good.
We were next door to the Olde Ship Inn where we were treated to an excellent Sunday lunch followed by a walk along the beach.
Pretty well everything was good - good food (2 breakfasts & 1 dinner) & not too expensive, comfortable rooms, *very* friendly & helpful staff. There's even lovely flowers around the beer garden & the car park! We only ended up at Longstone House Hotel because another hotel messed up our bookings but we were happy they did - when we got to Seahouses we realised our first choice would probably have been *very* noisy (LHH was lovely & quiet).
Very clean and lovely comfortable bed. Warm welcome and nice people. It functions well as a 'hotel room' but has restrictions (see below). Seahouses itself is nice, with access to plenty of things to do. Quite a walk from the Stables at night, but not too bad as long as you are fit and able. Easily accessible by car, with plenty of parking. Lots of places to eat in town but busier than we expected so booking is recommended.
Lovely accommodation. We were at the back of the house, the room was very clean, had everything we could need and was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Suzanne was very nice, friendly and attentive, nothing was a bother in terms of topping up any requirements for the rooms and giving advice about the area. Great location within 2 minutes walking distance of the main shops, 5 minutes from the harbour.
Michael was an excellent host nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast time was amazing Michael asked what you would like? So much choice..... you could have exactly what you wanted and how it was cooked. He was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the local area. The bedroom and and ensuite were impeccably clean as was the rest of the property. A top rating 11/10! Thank you for the best New Year
Such a lovely experience. We only stayed one night but wish we had booked longer. Our room was ready early so we were able to check in , which was great. The room was very cosy and very pet friendly. We booked the garden room as have a dog and loved it. Was great for catching the sun to. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The view was amazing to! We will definitely be booking this hotel again.
The staff were very friendly and helped us immediately to find a safe, dry place for our large tandem bicycle. The room was clean and the bed comfy. Breakfast was everything you could want and cooked exactly as you wanted, and I considered the Links Hotel to be eco-friendly because the dining room uses cloth table napkins, not endless and wasteful paper napkins. Thank you Links Hotel.
Kirsty made us very welcome , the rooms are all spotless , the breakfasts excellent, everything cooked to perfection. Great location , easy walk to the harbour and the cyclepath to Bamburgh only 100m away. Good choice of restaurants , shops , main road not busy. Great cycling to Beadnell Bay and Bamburgh.
Perfect New Year break. Hotel was spotlessly clean and warm and cozy. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for guests. Food was superb. Perfect location for Seahouses and the nearby areas to visit. Have booked again for return visit next year!
All staff were very friendly and more than accommodating with our dog. Bed was very comfortable. Lounge, bar and breakfast areas were also very nice. Cocktail hour was a particular highlight of our stay. Plenty of breakfast choices and food really tasty.
All the staff were so friendly and helpful, knowledgeable about the area and giving us advice for places to visit and eat.
They went above and beyond when we were leaving early hours of the morning and made our stay in Seahouses memorable.
Thank you!
Everything from arrival to departure was perfect. Wilf and Kate were lovely hosts and we would certainly recommend Wyndgrove House for a stay in Seahouses.
Car parking on site was a bonus.
Hopefully be back soon.
This was our 3rd visit to Seahouses, fab property, perfect location, very well thought out, had everything we needed. Comfy bed and amazing shower, the 2 most important things!! Would defo recommend
The property is very well equipped and everything is immaculate. It is very well placed right in the centre of Seahouses, within a couple of minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs.
A good quality small hotel on the sea front. Good food, welcoming staff, bar open in the evening and dog friendly. Just what we wanted while walking the Northumberland Coast
The property was in Seahouses about 15 mins walk to the centre. It was a good base to see Alnwick and Bamburgh castles.
Clean and comfortable with well cooked breakfast.
The location of Cherry Trees is wonderful, just a couple of minutes walk from restaurants and pubs. The staff were most welcoming and the breakfast for lovely.
