I didn’t have any meals as I was out most of the time at Cartmel races, the hotel was very clean and room was ready when I got there. Excellent position. I booked the single room which was very comfortable. Will be looking to book again later in the year.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The bar and restaurant areas were modern and well maintained. The bedrooms were about average size for this type of property but the rooms were exceptionally clean, the bedlinen and pillows were very comfortable. Gluten free food was available at breakfast and in the restaurant and, again not trouble to provide and prepare. Plenty of car parking.
