The design of the room is absolutely on point! The room has wonderful details.
The bed is amazing…so comfortable!
The location is great and was a plus that the restaurant was opened our first night there, our meal and wine selection was very good. Was a bit disappointing to not try more on the menu! The host is very friendly and helpful. There is a parking lot not far away, very convenient.

The view from out bedroom window overlooking St Ives harbour was fabulous, went to sleep and woke up with the waves hitting the rocks below us. Sadly balcony was shut due to windy weather.
No extra cost for a cooked breakfast. Good choice of menu for lunch/supper.
Set in tropical gardens, this elegant hotel offers wonderful sea views, an award-winning restaurant and direct access to Carbis Bay Beach, which is a member of The Most Beautiful Bays In The World...

We had a wonderfully restful night’s stay in a junior suite. The views were phenomenal. The suite had everything we needed, and more. The pantry with lemon drizzle cake in the afternoons was one of the many highlights of our stay.

What a picturesque town with outstanding natural beauty and so much to see in the way of art and ceramics. It does get very crowded during holiday times so I would recommend going out of season. Highlights include the Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Studio, the various galleries and the beaches. The walking could be difficult for anyone with limited mobility but there are ways around that in terms of getting transport. A really stunning spot. Plenty of excellent places to eat from beach cafes to independent bakeries and coffee shops to fish restaurants. It seemed that everywhere was very dog friendly too and many visitors were there with their dogs.

I’ve been coming to St Ives for 50 years so I’m slightly biased but it is a beautiful place with 5 beaches. Numerous good places to eat. Lovely little shops with different crafty bits in. Mostly flat when you are in the town area. Good location for exploring more of Cornwall if needed but plenty to see and do in St Ives.

I visited on the New Year holiday which was marvelous except for the weather. A force 8 gale with 15ft seas was recorded. Nevertheless a good time was had. The whole town went bat sh*t bonkers on New Years Eve by dressing up outrageously. The whole event concluded with a magnificent firework display.
Visitors lodged in the Old Town need to be nimble as do those going to No 85, which has narrow and awkward stair access to bedrooms.
Frail or people with compromised walking really ought to swerve this St Ives. The streets are steep, one car wide (although two way) and very narrow.
Try “One Fish Street” for a delicious, although expensive dinner. I’m a chef and I ‘rate’ this restaurant.
Spotlessly clean, very spacious in room 2, breakfast was tasty and great quality plus had choice, strong coffee, stylish homely decor not clinical like hotels. Leigh and Tracey were welcoming and friendly. Made accommodations for van parking. Thoughtful additions like bottles of water provided alongside usual coffee, tea and biscuits. Room 2 has a stunning view of the sea with huge bay windows. That room includes a large wardrobe, dressing table and armchairs by the windows and a very comfy bed.
Superb quality of everything. The attention to detail in making this a perfect, warm, welcoming home away from home is unparalleled in most places. Perfect for staying in on rainy days with beautiful views of the harbour, utterly comfortable mattress and inviting living space. I am a fussy traveller and was delighted with the comfortable luxury that was Manderley Penthouse. Massive thanks to the owners for creating such a wonderful haven to relax and rejuvenate in.
Sitting on a hill, the Harbour View House had a really great view of the harbor and St. Ives. The room was very comfortable and overlooked the harbor. The breakfast was very good and the bar area also overlooked the harbor and was a very pleasant place to have a drink. The access to the center of St. Ives required only a ten-minute walk so it was a very quiet place to stay. It's also a very short walk to the rail station.
Clean, warm and furnished well. Had all the facilities and space needed for a family getaway. Lovely outdoor space for the children to play in. Walked into St Ives (and back!) along the coast - the children loved it. Plenty to do and explore. Plenty of parking (albeit slightly away from the property but this didn’t bother us). Taxis back were fairly cheap (after a family wedding). The children can’t wait to return.
Great location, easy to walk into St Ives and wonderful house to stay in. Had best nights sleep in the comfy beds. The host was friendly, gave clear directions re house and responded promptly to any queries.
The extra touches eg bathrobes, welcome pack added to our stay in this beautiful house in St Ives, Cornwall. Perfect place to come home to after walking & sightseeing.
This is a charming hotel with an amazing location, right on the ocean. Views are terrific! We very much enjoyed the heated pool with ocean view too! The room is small but adequate and we were located right off of one of the lovely outdoor patios. The restaurant was good and the location near town was perfect. We had a great stay at the Pedn Olva.
It was perfect, and a great location right next to Carbis Bay Beach Hotel.Spotlessy clean and beautiful decor throughout. You can walk into St Ives and then catch the train back.Fabulous views of the sea and beach that is just a few minutes away.Thankyou Marco for letting us stay in your beautiful house, it's fab.
Ideal for a large group or family (as we were). Clean , comfortable and spacious with everything you'll need, 20 minute walk into St Ives and/or Carbis Bay, nice local pub with good food 2 minutes away plus off road parking which is always a bonus in St Ives.
Would definitely stay there again and recommend.
The hotel is in a great location 10 mins walk into town, and less than 10 mins walk to Porthmeor beach.
The room is spacious and had free parking
There was a communical kitchen and outdoor sitting area which is really nice.
the spa and pool facilities were exceptional. the orangery restaurant was amazing, were we had a great afternoon tea. the views are the best at any hotel in Cornwall. the beach is something from a paradise island
The well designed, clean rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices. the staff was friendly and very helpful. Able to walk to most everything as hotel was central.
Gorgeous apartment set in stunnjng gardens.
Plenty of space in the apartment, parking space right outside. Hotel facilities were great. Location brilliant for walking into town.
Lovely hotel and staff located in a perfect part of Cornwall. The views are as good as they look and without doubt, the food was some of the best we've had, anywhere.
The family that ran the hotel were extremely accommodating and the property and room were stunning. Far exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend.
