The cottage is well-appointed and it is furnished with every amenity that one could expect allowing for simple self-catering with a kettle, micro-wave, refrigerator and plentiful supplies of coffee and milk. The layout and furnishings are thoughtful and comfortable, although the bed was a little firm for our tastes.
The location is excellent with Charleston House less than 3 miles away and our host recommended a visit to Berwick Church which is an outstanding example of the work of the Bell's art and is well worth a visit. Birdsong and horses being led to gallops added a rustic feel to this restorative stay.

We spend three nights in lovely accommodation in Ringmer.
We spend three nights in lovely accommodation in Ringmer. It was a good base for coastal day trips. The Anchor pub was our local pub with lovely friendly staff and excellent food.
Was lovely seeing the cricket on the village green too.
