The Lighthouse, hotel in Nunney

The Lighthouse is a beautiful listed property offering 4-star accommodation near Frome, within the gently rolling Somerset countryside.

It was extremely relaxed and very comfortable. Absolutely spotless too. We had 2xsingle beds but that was my mistake. Will book super king size next time. Breakfast was excellent. Great selection for breakfast, hot or cold food or both if you like. Beautiful surroundings with lovely countryside, a lake and a play park for children. There’s even a cafe bar on site.

The cottage is very clean, cosy and well equipped.

The cottage is very clean, cosy and well equipped. The gift basket in the kitchen was a very pleasant surprise. It contained tea and coffee essentials and also a few little treats and there was milk in the fridge; it was all very welcoming. It was a really delightful place to stay. Nunney Castle is a picturesque ruined castle and it was great to wander round it in the afternoon sunshine. Nothing negative at all.
