Chessington Hotel, hotel in Mickleham

This modern hotel with a stylish safari theme is located at the Chessington World of Adventures Resort. There is free parking and free WiFi in public areas.

Room was really comfy and clean, staff friendly and helpful. What really impressed me was when I explained at check in that I wasn't able to visit the zoo as I was there for work but hoped to see some animals from my room, the lady at the desk gave me a reassuring nod. Sure enough, a room with a view. That small token really made all the difference to my stay!

We were visiting family in Dorking and this was the ideal spot outside of the town. Small village with pretty church. The roof on the bell tower looks like the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter. Locals very friendly. The church organist was about to give us a recital when my son arrived to collect us and we had to leave. We didn’t eat at the Running Horse so cannot comment on the food.
