A fabulous room, great big bed, nice seating area and spacious bathroom. Well placed for Blackpool Pleasure Beach and South Pier. Our room looked out directly into the park so we could watch all the rollercoasters coming past - but couldn't really hear them at all.

The common areas of the hotel were lovely. Staff were friendly and would join in with laughs etc.

Nothing was shifted to royal Carlton without being informed previously That hotel was filthy no facilities not even a kettle in the rooms Ask at bar for pint ,no draught ,white wine sorry none ,Diet Coke ,sorry none cup of tea sorry can’t no kettle! Do have to add that the chef in the morning and the night shift staff were very pleasant I asked Dillon the supposed manager if he would be happy to pay for a stay in there for a weekend , his answer was he couldn’t comment on that says it all
