Nothing. Restaurant looked nice but despite our booking for the night they refused to serve even a snack (after a journey of several hours). We arrived at 8.25pm and were told the kitchen would close at 8.30pm. They were visibly irritated when I asked if they could see if a cold snack could be provided. In the event that was refused as well. Nothing was available nearby and the only option was another drive to a Wendy’s.

The Railway Inn is located near Rise, 13 km from Kingston upon Hull. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site.

Really comfortable with amazing food downstairs in the pub. Good quiet location and very dog friendly. This is our second visit and we will return.

Very comfortable and very clean. Quiet location over-looking open fields. Plenty of free parking. There are two bedrooms with double four-poster beds. The rooms are particularly pleasant and comfortable. Both with ensuite shower/loo. You have the whole cottage and gardens so plenty of room for families. You are about 20 minutes from Beverley. This cottage is self-catering with well equipped kitchen, large enough for a family of six at the kitchen table. Two triple-seat sofas in the lounge, plus chair. Recommended.

We were grateful to find such a lovely apartment where well-behaved dogs are welcome. Delightful park across the road for pooch to expend some energy! The property is in a great location - within walking distance to the seafront and to local restaurants. Hosts Anna and Simon are most welcoming and the apartment is spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast fixings are most generous - we loved that we could eat at our dining table inside the apartment without hassling our hosts. We highly recommend this property - we will definitely be back each time we go birdwatching on the cliffs
