Excellent…
The location, cleanliness, space in room and breakfast room, communication and hospitality of the owners, warmth - I had a very long drive and needed some comfort so the warm & cosy feeling in the room was much welcomed.
Breakfast - excellent quality and a great price! Thank you

I liked the location of the hotel as it's on top of a hill and the views from my bedroom were lovely. I chose this hotel because of the leisure facilities, it was great to be able to use the pool.
The breakfast was a little too greasy for me but still lovely and the staff were helpful.
Check-in was easy and the staff seem very nice. For a budget hotel this was a lot better than some other "lodges" I have stayed at! It wasn't noisy despite being next to a petrol station and a lorry yard. The breakfast was great.
Breakfasts were good and had plenty of choices. Our room was basic but comfortable and the staff went out of their way to find a fridge for our medications to be stored in. A couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom door or elsewhere to hang clothes on when showering or bathing would have been nice. All in all a very pleasant stay for a budget hotel and would not hesitate to return again.
Very welcoming staff member, lovely and clean communal area and room, comfortable beds and plenty of soft towels, very hot water, no glass or plastic tumbler in the bathroom which was my only gripe. Buffet breakfast was cracking plenty to choose from and all this from a budget price hotel, we will definitely be returning.
Beautiful little place, had 2 family rooms both very accommodating. Gentleman on reception was very friendly and had left balloons in my room for my birthday. Breakfast was lovely. We visited the safari park which we visit once a year but this was our first time at Happy Guest Lodge but will now be our hotel of choice.
The room was clean and comfortable, the gentleman on reception was friendly and polite. The breakfast was OK and had a good variety of options. not amazing quality but then it is free in a budget hotel, so can't expect gourmet. It met if not exceeded our expectations in the sense it was spacious and clean.
Location was great as we were visiting Cheshire but Chester was too expensive. Room was standard but perfectly fine. It was handy that the hotel (although in the sticks) was next door to a petrol station with a convenience store.
The location is fabulous - in a really nice area. Staff are all really nice & very helpful. Facilities are good, breakfast has a nice selection & rooms are clean. A great little hotel at a reasonable price.
Very welcoming gentleman running the hotel qnd couldn't do enough for me and my family, facilities were great and was very useful having the shop next door at the petrol station
