We used this hotel as a base for our final 2 days of walking Hadrian's Wall. The staff and the food were absolutely first class. Friendly and professional. Excellent location for the city centre. Rooms were a good size and beds comfortable. No moans at all from the group.
Many thanks

The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast, included in the price, was excellent.
We had lunch there on our first day and it was very good. The home cut chips were amazing and the battered fish was good. With a decent portion.

A nice compact little centre within the metro-area of Tyne...
A nice compact little centre within the metro-area of Tyne and Wear, not much to see and do within Jarrow but easy to get to South Shields beaches and good road links to go further.
Some nice Viking sculpture and a few pretty buildings. I wasn’t about for long but it felt safe. A decent location to explore the wider area within the great north east.
