Excellent communication and friendliness of my hosts. Hospitality and choice for the inclusive breakfast.

We were quite lucky to get the room at the very top with beautiful view through the back door.
The hotel is at the centre of the village, free off road parking area close by.
The hotel provides light breakfast at the communal breakfast area, with some fruits, sweet bread and cereals.
There are a few walking routes around the area which is quite nice.
There's a bar downstairs which serves food and drink, however when we were there, the bar was very busy so we got fish and chips from the village instead, which only a short walk away.
We enjoyed our stay at the Station House, South Brent. We would come again 😊

We recently stayed overnight at Welbeck Manor and it was an unforgettable experience. The exceptional staff made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived.
Our beautiful room was a perfect blend of comfort and luxury, with stunning decor and modern amenities.
We also enjoyed a fabulous roast dinner that was both delicious and beautifully presented
Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and the impeccable service made it even more special.
We highly recommend Welbeck Manor and look forward to returning.

We were very lucky with the weather and had a wonderful walk on Dartmoor. We were happy with the local shops and parking. Ivybridge has much interesting local history too ! Near the noisy A38, but this makes Ivybridge very accessible!
We made a couple of trips to the coast from Ivybridge too.

Well positioned for walking in the National Park.
Well positioned for walking in the National Park. Just off the main road, so transport connections are good. There's also a main line train station and bus connections. Several shops, pubs offering accomodation, and restaurants. We had a very pleasant meal at Nandons (Indian).
Lots of parking available but some noisy motor bikes.

Beautiful short river walk within the picturesque village.
Beautiful short river walk within the picturesque village. Longer beautiful country walks within short distance. Viaduct nearby, large amazing garden centre, & lovely Main Street with a variety of small shops, pubs & church.
I have stayed in the Annex at Middle Filham. As before I was greeted by my host on arrival to greet me and see me into the property. We caught up on events since I was last there it was like a friendly homecoming. Inside the annex the heating was already on and although it was near freezing outside it was warm and cosy inside. The location is quiet with the excellent Filham Park close by and the village and shops of Ivybridge are a short walk or drive away.
The location of the hotel was easy to find and the short and long stay car parks to the rear very useful. Breakfast was delicious, the service and staff were faultless. I really felt comfortable though travelling alone and the dinner in the restaurant that I paid extra for was totally delicious.
We have stayed here a few times before and we always feel very at home at the Garden Barn. The facilities and location are great for so many local activities. We find something else every time we come down to Ivybridge. It really does feel like a home away from home.
The meals that we had were excellent. The room was light and airy with a vaulted ceiling. The pillows supplied in that room were the most comfortable I have ever had in any hotel|| The bar area was well served and friendly.
It's well located on the outskirts of Ivybridge. If the weather had been better, then the private terrace and views would have been lovely!
The hosts were very generous with sharing info and tips about things to do locally.
Very beautiful location .Dog friendly. The hosts were very nice. Breakfast good. The property was very clean and comfortable. Ivybridge not too far if you need to eat after a long travel
Very friendly staff. Everything spotless. Excellent instructions on the hotel and room on arrival. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Just couldn't recommend more hightly.
Good location, clean property. Very comfortable and the cottage had everything that we needed. Close to Ivybridge which was handy for shopping or eating out.
