A stunning blend of old and new, this hotel was just perfect! Beautiful modern decor and amenities in the rooms, beautiful old building with strained glass windows and historical photos on the walls which gives this hotel character. Excellent service by friendly and professional staff. Delicious food in the restaurant. Relax in the stunning landscaped gardens in this hidden gem in Scotland. We will be back soon.

The description on bookings.com was for half board which meant bed, breakfast and evening meal but the hotel said it only included bed and breakfast and charged us extra for the evening meal so the description on bookings.com website do not accord with the hotel
Excellent, clean facilities, especially the pool area, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Everyone was so friendly and provided outstanding customer service. The hotel itself is really beautiful and had lovely touches, like the Robert Burns framed poems. The food and cocktails were great too. It was also family friendly with the soft play for toddlers (although we didn’t use this service).
The staff in the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and approachable. Dinner and breakfast was amazing, we had duck fajitas and a tuna steak which was very delicious and great value for money. The decor throughout the hotel and country club is lovely and modern and has a relaxed atmosphere overall.
Hotel was lovely, we had the Superior room with jacuzzi bath which was great. Beds comfortable and room just brilliant. Really enjoyed a dinner in the plumpy duck where the staff were friendly and accommodating, nothing was a bother to them
The new spa sauna and pool facilities was the best unlike the rest. Staff is attentive and lovely, clean as a whistle, great location to escape city like and easily commutable (within reason). I'll be back again for certain.
Hotel was outstanding, from the stay to the food to the staff. Spa is beautiful and great value for money. All staff are outstanding completely went out their way to accommodate.
The hotel was modern and very well presented the leisure facilities were very good, the pool was never busy so able to enjoy at your leisure
