Waking up to the dawn chorus, The Forester is deep in the country with good walks on the doorstep. The room was large and well-appointed, the bathroom had soap - a rare bonus.

The house was clean and cosy, and had a very good sleep. The host was lovely to chat with and made a very nice breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade goods and great scrambled eggs that she kindly offered! I would stay here again if in the area ❤️

Had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Edited to add: we left something behind, and the owner very kindly helped us out by agreeing to drop it off at a relative's for us. This item had a lot of sentimental value and her help was very much appreciated.

Friendly landlord offered me coffee upon arrival after long solo drive. The room had fresh coffee and cafetière. Bath most welcome to unwind and soothe aches after 3 hour drive. The purpose of the visit was to attend a wedding in a nearby village.

We didn't get to spend much time in Hindon but the neighborhood we were in was very lovely. We walked around a bit after we checked in, before we sat down for dinner. We didn't have a chance to go into any shops as it was late when we arrived but we very much enjoyed our stroll around the area.

Such a lovely quiet village, conveniently close to the A303 and the perfect distance for us when travelling up or down country from home in the West Country. We stayed in the Grosvenor Arms which was fabulous in every respect.

There was a book about the history of Hindon in our room, written by a local historian. It was so interesting we bought a copy! Although Hindon is very small it is a place that has been a crossroads of history. I would have liked to have time for a wander round.

A typical and very attractive Wiltshire village with gorgeous architecture. Easy to walk up and down the street gazing at lovely houses and gardens All surrounded by beautiful countryside. Wiltshire in the sun was at its very best.
The Lamb Inn looks very much as good in reality as it does in the photos. The pub itself has loads of historic character, very atmospheric and is tastefully renovated as are the guest rooms combining modern elements while retaining and respecting its heritage and sense of history. Its location in the beautiful picturesque village of Hindon is also a great plus and a pleasure to walk around. A very good base to explore the Wiltshire countryside and nearby areas.
Hindon is a lovely little village just off the A303. The pub is in the heart of the village and is really nice and cosy with log fires and a great selection of drinks. The food menu is excellent with a good choice on offer. I had the steak and ale pie which was really good. The staff were all friendly and really helpful. Our room was very comfortable and a very generous size I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.
The inn is lovely and exactly as described.
The rooms were small but adequate- we had to put a cot in and it was tight!
The village of Hindon is lovely.
The food was really nice and the staff were all friendly.
Our dinner was lovely and the food was great for evening meal. I would say there needs to be more choice on the menu as some of the meals were a bit strange! Lamb sweet cheeks!? Ergh
Set in the beautiful village of Hindon this old property is perfect for a stop off and short break. Excellent dinner and the superb breakfast which was included in the room price. We’d stay here again.
A tastefully newly decorated pub hotel. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with quality coffee. Very close to the Tisbury Farm wedding venue where we attended a lovely wedding.
Could not fault this hotel at all. Lovely location, super friendly staff, really nice rooms and the food in the evening and at breakfast was superb!
Highly recommend!
