Wonderful place with great staff! Warmly welcomed and shown around. The new playground in the back field was thoroughly enjoyed by our youngest. Very clean, comfy beds and a great breakfast! Thank you so much.

The location is beautiful and quiet.
The location is beautiful and quiet. Perfect for a relaxed holiday. Close enough to town or the city for a day’s outing. The farm shops had reasonably priced meat and vegetables. The pubs and restaurants nearby had good food. We enjoyed the walking trails and the beautiful scenery.

The staff were lovely, super efficient and chatty- the Hotel Manager,a Portuguese gentleman was the perfect host. Food was delicious we had a light lunch daily and a fabulous dinner every evening and everything was beautifully presented and tasted yummy- the terrace in the sun was the icing on the cake with stunning views and wonderful walks from the pub- we will be back
the rustic bar / hotel was in the main fine but the bed was really really bad , the mattress was about 10 years old , and was very very uncomfortable , i had a bad back in the morning it was sooo bad , i stay in about 4 to 5 hotels a month and this was the worse bed ever, also the wi-Fi was very poor
Very well organised and the staff such as Clair, the young Englishman behind the bar and the young Rumanian waitress were all excellent. Matt’s cooking was very good indeed. Also, the hotel is in a great position for views and for walking. The car park was very large and so parking was very easy.
Breakfast was nice but had to ask for toast with my full English just expected toast to be available without having to put order for it in room was really nice but would of been exceptional if it had a mini fridge use to staying in 5 star hotels with fridge for drinks
The room had plenty of original features but with a smart, up to date feel.
The location was perfect.
