Excellent venue with good food but be aware thus is a dog friendly venue and many of the guests brought dogs into the restaurant. Food, staff and service was excellent and I would recommend this venue for anyone staying in this area.

Its a very beautiful location and great for walks especially if you have a dog, as the place is very dog friendly. Service in the restaurant was quick and friendly.The food on offer is not fine dining but high quality pub food, cooked very well and served with a smile.

The location is beautiful and quiet.
The location is beautiful and quiet. Perfect for a relaxed holiday. Close enough to town or the city for a day’s outing. The farm shops had reasonably priced meat and vegetables. Food was delicious we had a light lunch daily and a fabulous dinner every evening and everything was beautifully presented and tasted yummy- the terrace in the sun was the icing on the cake with stunning views and wonderful walks from the pub- we will be back

Matt’s cooking was very good indeed. Also, the hotel is in a great position for views and for walking. The car park was very large and so parking was very easy.
