The pods were delightful, featuring a cozy hot tub outdoors. Inside, you’ll find just the essentials: a fridge, kettle, toaster, and microwave. It’s perfect for a brief stay, but for longer visits, plan accordingly. We also dined at the George and Dragon, which is under the same ownership. The meal was very nice, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming.

This was our second vist to the Lodden Swan. Pretty location, well positioned for sightseeing in the the surrounding area, as well as Norwich and the coast. Friendly staff, spacious, clean and comfortable room. Bar and dining area comfortable and nicely presented. Good selection of hot and cold choices for breakfast, which we would recommend. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

The views from the conservatory where we had breakfast were stunning and quite compensated for the location on the edge of town. Anne our host was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was generous with an array of fresh fruit as well as a cooked breakfast and croissants.

Beautiful historic inn, lots of period features. We stayed in the Eln room which was amazing! We opened the door and just thought “wow!” Great central location to explore Beccles town centre. Every little detail thought of in the room, very comfortable bed. Huge bathroom. Little extras like pots of porridge. Absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend. Staff were so friendly and helpful too. A perfect stay & we will definitely be back!
