Excellent location especially for visiting Three Counties Showground and the main shops in Malvern.
Very quiet during the night. Noisy when we arrived with a dog howling continuously in the room below but we went out for a walk and when we returned it had stopped and didn’t hear it again.
Loved the hot and cold breakfast options.
Every member of staff was amazing. Excellent customer service.

This was our second time to Cottage in the Woods, and it did not disappoint!
Our room was great, much prefer Beach Cottage and we had a good view.
Really can't thank the restaurant and bar staff enough they were all amazing and so attentive, nothing was too much trouble and they were super friendly, whilst also remaining professional. Don't change a thing! We will be back again soon.
Thanks to all the staff for making our visit so special again.

If you like walking and history then this is the place to come. Amazing walks and stunning views. The view from British Hill Camp is quite something. There are a number of beautiful little towns, like Ledbury, Great Malvern etc that are steeped in history as well as great for eating out. The Eastnor castle and grounds are another place to visit and a walk uptown the obelisk is well worth the walk up to it.

We liked the hills and views the younger members of our party climbed the British camp to take photos and we all enjoyed the gas lights in West malvern. We took empty bottles and filled them.up with water out of one of the many wells in the area.

Lovely little town with independent shops great for browsing. Great choice of restaurants and bars. There is a great bar in the high street that brews beer called Weavers. At the top of the town we went to Alturo Lounge that has a fantastic choice of food and drink in a highly decorative atmosphere. We also went to Gurka Chef and sa.pled Nepalese food. It was very nice and a change from indian food. The theatre is lovely and very accessible. Friendly people. If you like walking there are great walks and history walks too!

The area looked beautiful but unfortunately we were only able to stay overnight for a friends funeral. We had to be back in London that evening for a prebooked event. Will definately go back again to explore the area.
The location is perfect for exploring Great Malvern and the surrounding area. Reception staff were consistently welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a great en suite shower room. We were on the sunny side of the hotel, which was quite warm but there was a very efficient and quiet fan provided, for which we were grateful. There was free parking. We ate in the Mulberry Tree restaurant in the evening where the service was also very good and the food great.
we came for a one night stay as we were going to a dog show in the area. stayed with 3 border collies. the service was excellent and so was the room we stayed in - very comfortable and spacious for us and the dogs. the hotel even went out of their way to give us some breakfast for the next day as we couldn’t make to it in the morning so that was very considerate and appreciated. would highly recommend this hotel. the area it’s based in is beautiful also.
Friendly efficient service. Excellent breakfast and restaurant food with a variety of dishes and a good wine list. Central location with access to the Malvern Hills, transportation- without a car I was able to get to Hereford and Worcester. Above all the hotel was well-managed, well-maintained and value for money.
This was a return visit due to the excellence of the hotel in every respect.
The hosts were very friendly and eager to ensure every guest’s stay was enjoyable. The room was very comfortable with all expected facilities and there was a good choice of excellent breakfasts. A small family run hotel which couldn’t be bettered. A good parking area was available, a delightful garden, a lounge and honesty bar. We couldn’t have been more at home.
Staff were really nice and accommodating given my work schedule and how late I would be getting in.
I couldn’t make breakfast as I had to leave early but room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet even by the road side.
Parking just outside hotel feels safe as vehicle is in eye view of room and off road.
Jeremy the host was exceptionally friendly and attentive.
The hotel is really well located for the town centre, has limited parking but we were able to park on site. Will be great once they have electric car chargers. The rooms are clean and functional, and more than adequate for a 2 star rated hotel.
Great location, lovely hotel , staff were very welcoming and friendly , we liked that you could pay for an early check in and park on site. The room was lovely , very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a great restaurant and bar.
The breakfast was very good , great menu choice .
We had a lovely stay at the Malvern Hills Hotel. Just what we needed, situated so you can park the car and leave it there, perfect for walking the Malvern Hills, straight out of the hotels front door. Room was great, food was really good, will stay again I would imagine :-).
