Location is great. You can get pretty much anywhere on the island with ease in under an hour. The Cottage is in a beautiful spot near to the coast with a wonderful view. It's only a short walk to the Calanais standing stones from the property. The actual cottage has all the facilities you could need for either a short or long stay. We were there close to a week and we cannot think of anything we would change about the place. If a visitor is unfortunate enough to experience bad weather on the island you won't have a tough time staying indoors for the day as it's really comfortable and inviting inside. Could not recommend more to anyone.

The location is literally smack dab on a gorgeous beach with waves lulling you to sleep at night. The Bothies are well-equipped with everything you could need. There are two more beaches right nearby and plenty of good walks start right outside the door. The hosts are warm, kind people who made me feel like a friend.

Spent nearly a week in this spacious, comfortable and clean cottage with garden, fully equipped with everthing you need as a couple or family. Our welcome was very nicely prepared with fresh flowers in the rooms, milk, cookies etc.
The local village shop (200m) is offering all little things for the day, and you can have tea, coffee, cake and some hot food.I
t's just a short walk to the coast with black houses attraction and impressive views. On your way you will also pass the local tweed mill. Don't judge from the outside - even if the whole factory is really old, it's very impressive inside. We had a nice factory tour, seeing the whole tweed manufacturing process. Everything was well explained by the very friendly staff.
We enjoyed our stay a lot and would not hesitate to repeat it exactly in the same way if possible.
