The farm house was in a beautiful village. The room was wonderful - spacious and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable, the owners were a real joy to meet and the breakfast was amazing. I have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful place!

Lovely 3 night stay in a charming thatched inn in a lovely quiet village. Our room in the former stables at the rear of the pub was very clean, airy, pleasantly decorated and very quiet. I had the best nights sleep I think I have ever had when staying away from home as the bed was so comfortable. Our hosts, Louise and Martin, were very friendly and helpful. No cooked breakfast is offered but the continental breakfast provided to eat in the room was more than sufficient. The Kings Head is centered around the local community and is very friendly and welcoming place. The paella evening on Saturday night was a great idea and very enjoyable. Would certainly stay again.

The Inn is situated near the village green, but is surrounded by farmland.
It has a very attractive garden for sitting out in the summer, or when it's warmer.
The inn has a lovely cozy bar, with wooden beams and low ceilings, and a massive open original fireplace. The seats are all very comfortable soft leather tub chairs or leather doubles.
The owner over heard us talking about the lovely firepace and how nice it would be in the winter to be sitting around the fire and, after our meal he lit the fire especially for us. It wasn't winter it was May, but it was certainly very welcome.
We ate in the evening and the food was superb.
The Full English we had in the morning was one of the best I've ever had at an Inn.
