The location seemed fine when I booked Sunset House.
The location seemed fine when I booked Sunset House. Having the Nag's Head within walking distance was great for dinner. But we wanted to vary the restaurants where we ate and ended up as far away as Thetford. Not a big problem, but something I should have foreseen. Otherwise, the location worked well for an exploration of Norman and medieval churches.

Our host, who owned the B & B, was exceptionally charming, knowledgeable and efficient. Lovely village just off the A11 and handy for Norwich, Thetford and Snetterton raceway. Excellent Co-op type store in the centre of the village and Rumbles - a superb fish and chip/kebab shop. I didn't get to try a local pub because of Covid-19. You need a car to get around ideally, not too many buses. Only drawback -no Link cash machine should you need cash !!davidUnited Kingdom

Andrew was brilliant and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed (he even loaned me a toothpaste when I forgot it!). Breakfast was delicious, we had a choice between cooked and continental, and both were tasty and filling! Loved our stay in the quiet pretty village of East Harling and recommend it as a great base for exploring Norfolk/Suffolk.
