The location was perfect for hiking in and around the area. The staff, the room, the evening meal and breakfast were all exceptional! Amazing value for money. The building itself with the backdrop of the mountains was truly breathtaking. Highly recommended. Will definitely be going back.

    Brilliant for walks by the lake at ennerdale waters where the scenery is just stunning. I am sure it will be even nicer when the weather is better! The yew was a lovely pub where we had a lovely dinner
