The atmosphere and staff were great…..friendly and very helpful. We had breakfast each morning and dinner both nights. It was lovely to have food made to order rather than a self service/buffet style breakfast. Dinner was lovely too and very tasty.

Wonderful welcoming hosts, well appointed bedroom, spacious separate bathroom, excellent breakfast, with a good variety of options. Recommendations given for locally eateries were much appreciated and the pair we chose did not disappoint, I would highly recommend Kell house to all

They have thought of everything! From the fresh milk in a mini flask, to toiletry essentials and delicious biscuits… not to mention the superb furnishings, gardens, view and cooked breakfast to die for. We would love to return. It was actually the loveliest night away we’ve ever had.
Good food but very disappointed that we weren’t allowed in...
Good food but very disappointed that we weren’t allowed in the bar in the evening. We wanted a relaxing drink at the end of the day. Would not have booked if we had known.
Room was tired and local info was very out of date - details of local mill shop which had closed last year.
