Castle Lodge Bed & Breakfast in Sennybridge, Brecon, offers a truly enchanting escape in the heart of the Welsh countryside. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the lodge's unique blend of historic charm and modern luxury.
Our room, a beautifully appointed haven, boasted a sumptuous four-poster bed, elegant furnishings, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower. Every detail had been carefully considered, creating an ambiance of pure indulgence.
The communal lounge was equally inviting, a cozy space to relax and mingle with fellow guests. We enjoyed evenings spent chatting by the fire, sharing stories and travel tips.
Breakfast at Castle Lodge was a highlight of our stay. The locally sourced ingredients were transformed into a feast for the senses, a delicious array of both traditional and contemporary dishes.
Beyond the lodge itself, the Brecon Beacons National Park beckoned with endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. We spent our days hiking scenic trails, exploring charming villages, and soaking in the breathtaking scenery.

We booked this stay for a wedding we were attending in the castle opposite, rhe room was self check in which was great as we were running a bit late, and the instructions that were given to us by the host previously that day were very helpful and clear, the room was lovely, it was a great sized room with a double bed and bunk beds which we weren't expecting but it's great of we would of taken the kids, the room was clean and it also had a small kitchen area, with table and chairs and a TV. the bathroom was clean and had some toiletries available which is good if you had forgotten anything, the bed was very comfy and we had a great night sleep, the location was great any and the area as we already knew is beautiful, a d free on site parkingwe'll definitely stay there again.
