The location is very scenic and ideal for exploring Rutland. The hotel grounds are well maintained and despite the inclines between buildings we didn’t find getting around too difficult. The room was a good size, with a large bed and good sized bathroom. The room also had a balcony which looked out over Rutland Water and a couple of seats to relax and watch the setting sun.

The location is excellent right by the magnificent church. My room a good size as was the bathroom. The room and decor was simple but tastefully done with a wide oak staircase. The check in process was easy to understand. .
