I had a terrible stay at Montigo Resorts Somerset. The room was dirty, with mould found in multiple places. I found a hair tie with hair still on it, shower head covered in limescale, proving they don’t clean properly. The staff were unhelpful and insisted the room was fine, clearly just spraying Febreze to mask the nasty smell. The whole hotel is extremely rundown.

Lovely, old fashioned accommodation in a terrific location. The breakfast was delicious and the evening menu provided great choice and excellent value for money. Much better than having to find somewhere every evening.

I got the booking dates wrong, but the hosts sorted it out and provided an even better room. Excellent breakfast. We travelled with 10 month little one, and I can say that this place is good for babies.

I think the room we stayed in should have had blinds on the velux windows the bathroom over looked the garden and the came in early morning in bedroom - they do need to improve on somethings give the hotel some love and attention and a clean
