There are a couple of pubs, The Eight Bells and The Waverley, the staff are very friendly and helpful also a nice Italian Restaurant, Valentino's. There are a few shops and a Co-Op that is well stocked. Carisbrooke Castle is nearby.CliveUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
We explored Carisbrook Castle which was excellent.
We explored Carisbrook Castle which was excellent. The museum there is full of treasures - well worth a look. Also visited nearby pub The Blacksmiths - slightly out of the town - great food, lovely staff and attractive bar and eating areas. We would recommend and definitely return. Booking advised as clearly popular!
