A pleasant drive on a Friday evening over to Caldicot. Excellent weather, not too hot or too cold. An enjoyable day out with Hive Mind Mead & Brew Company. A Bee Keeping course in the morning and a Mead Making course in the afternoon. In between both courses, I had a relaxed walk around the grounds of Caldicot Castle!

The town itself isn't particularly interesting, but it has a lovely castle with attractive grounds - great for walking round and also entrance at times. Very happy to clean the bathroom for me, friendly with the dogs, and probs the best thing about the place . Around the car park and back of hotel plenty benches and grassy areas for dogs .
