I liked how the person on duty took time to make us a meal, when they had no chef, she was very friendly and surprised me with Broccoli and stilton soup, delicious. Plenty of room in the car park.

Nice atmosphere and spacious room- comfortable bed. Nice view from the room with comfy armchairs. Easy parking next to the pub. Nice big radiators which warmed the room quickly.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The bar and restaurant areas were modern and well maintained. The bedrooms were about average size for this type of property but the rooms were exceptionally clean, the bedlinen and pillows were very comfortable. Gluten free food was available at breakfast and in the restaurant and, again not trouble to provide and prepare. Plenty of car parking.
